Five new amino acid-sesquiterpene adducts, saussureamines A, B, C, D, and E, were isolated from Chinese Saussureae Radix, the dried root of Saussurea lappa CLARKE, together with a lignan glycoside, (-)-massoniresinol 4"-O-β-D-glucopyranoside. Their structures determined on basis chemical physicochemical evidence. Among these compounds. C showed anti-ulcer effect HCl / ethanol-induced lesions in rats, saussureamine A also exhibited inhibitory activiity stress-induced ulcer formation mice....
We have measured the electroreflectance spectra of ordered Ga0.5In0.5P alloys grown on GaAs by organometallic vapor phase epitaxy. As a result, it has been found that there exist anomalous structures in region E0 and E1 band edges this material. These are closely related to recently reported alloy, since these never observed with disordered such as bulk crystals epitaxial layers liquid
Abstract The composition dependence of ferroelectric properties was investigated for (111)-oriented epitaxial HfO 2 -CeO solid solution films. Twenty nanometer thick films with different compositions were prepared on (111)ITO//(111)YSZ substrates at room temperature by pulsed laser deposition and subsequent heat treatment 1000 °C under atmospheric N or O gas flow. All the had fluorite structures, their crystal symmetries changed from monoclinic through orthorhombic to tetragonal/cubic phases...
Abstract We present an approach for deposition of highly conductive nominally undoped ZnO films that are suitable the n‐type window low band gap solar cells. demonstrate low‐voltage radio frequency (RF) biasing growing during their by non‐reactive sputtering makes them as when doped aluminium ( ρ ≤1·10 −3 Ω cm). The prepared with additional RF possess lower free‐carrier concentration and higher mobility than Al‐doped (AZO) same resistivity, which results in a substantially transparency near...
Y-doped HfO2 films with various thicknesses were prepared on (100)-oriented [10 wt.% Sn-doped In2O3, ITO]//(100) [yttria-stabilized zirconia, YSZ], and (111)ITO//(111)YSZ substrates by a radio-frequency magnetron sputtering method. Almost single phase of orthorhombic symmetry was obtained for all films. {100}-oriented epitaxial (100)ITO//(100)YSZ substrates, while the film orientation changed from {111} to {100} increasing thickness substrates. also ITO layers (100)YSZ//(001)Si...
Abstract Y-doped HfO 2 films with thicknesses of 150−1000 nm were prepared on Pt/TiO x /SiO /Si substrates by the sputtering method and subsequent heat treatment at 800 °C. XRD analysis showed that consisted an almost pure orthorhombic/tetragonal phase. Hysteresis loops originating from ferroelectricity observed in polarization−electric field relationship; remnant polarization coercive about 12 μ C cm −2 1.2 MV −1 , respectively. Piezoelectricity was also confirmed strain−electric curves for...
Abstract "Antibody-breeding" approach potentially generates therapeutic/diagnostic antibody mutants with greater performance than native antibodies. Therein, fragments (e.g., single-chain Fv fragments; scFvs) a variety of mutations are displayed on bacteriophage to generate diverse phage-antibody libraries. Rare clones improved functions then selected via panning against immobilized or tagged target antigens. However, this selection process often ended unsuccessful, mainly due the biased...
Abstract Although the fecal immunochemical test for hemoglobin (FIT) is a widely used screening colorectal cancer, it not sensitive enough to detect advanced adenoma. To address this issue, we performed study investigate whether combining FIT and DNA testing of methylated somatostatin ( SST ) could improve diagnostic performance We collected feces from 79 healthy subjects with negative results on colonoscopy, 43 patients non‐advanced adenoma, 117 126 cancer. After was incubated...
We investigate how conduction band offset between the buffer and i-layer of Cu(InGa)Se 2 solar cells affects their performance. Employing SCAPS simulations, we explore two specific cases with either a CdS or an alternative Zn(OS) higher energy. These studies are supported by experimental results using (ZnMg)O as model material. find that pure ZnO is suitable for chalcogenide-based only if...
Characterization of LiM-doped (M = V, Nb, Ta, or Zr) piezoelectric aluminum nitride ((LiyM1−y)xAl1−xN) was performed by first-principles calculations and experimental approaches. The calculation results show that for all (LiyM1−y)xAl1−xN, coefficient d33,f is increased increasing the LiM doping concentration x up to 0.25. In comparison results, reveal only (LiyNb1−y)xAl1−xN has d33. absolute value d33 9.54 pC N−1 at 0.15 ((Li0.45Nb0.55)0.15Al0.85N) due elastic softening modulus E. addition,...
9,10-Phenanthrenequinone (9,10-PQ), a redox-active quinone in diesel exhausts, triggers cellular apoptosis via reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation its redox cycling. This study found that induction of CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein-homologous protein (CHOP), pro-apoptotic factor derived from endoplasmic reticulum stress, participates the mechanism rat endothelial cell damage. The 9,10-PQ-mediated CHOP was strengthened by proteasome inhibitor (MG132) and MG132-induced sensitization to...
A 3 yr old wirehaired fox terrier was presented to his primary care veterinarian with fever, thrombocytopenia, and generalized crusting dermatitis. The skin lesion had progressed for at least 18 days, thrombocytopenia developed days before presentation. Histopathology direct immunofluorescence studies of the were consistent pemphigus foliaceus (PF). Immunofluorescence revealed immunoglobulin G deposition around keratinocytes in stratum spinosum. diagnosis immune-mediated (IMT) confirmed by...
Y‐doped HfO 2 ferroelectric films of ≈1 μm thick are deposited without heating by a radio frequency magnetron sputtering method. {100}‐oriented epitaxial with orthorhombic phase grown on (100)ITO//(100)YSZ substrates heating. Their crystal structure is almost unchanged after postheat treatment at 800 °C. Ferroelectricity confirmed for the no‐heating‐deposited polarization−electric field ( P−E ) curves, and their remanent polarization P r coercive fields 12 μC cm −2 1.5 MV −1 , respectively....
Thiopurines continue to play an important role in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It is well known that thiopurines can cause several adverse reactions. Especially, hematopoietic toxicity may lead severe agranulocytosis. In a previous prospective study, we investigated relationship between inosine triphosphate pyrophosphatase (ITPA) c.94c > polymorphism, 6-thioguanine nucleotide (6-TGN) concentration and toxicity. To clarify thiopurine toxicity, analysed nucleoside...
Sleeve resection with end-to-end anastomosis (Procedure A) and window a tracheocutaneous fistula B) are the major surgical procedures for patients papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) exhibiting transluminal tracheal invasion. For each procedure, indications, postoperative course, treatment results were examined retrospectively.Of 1,456 PTC (maximum tumor diameter >1 cm) who received initial between 1993 2013, we reviewed 51 patients. Of these cases, 45 showed full-layer invasion, 6 did not...
