Abstract Background Two important flavonoids, kaempferol and quercetin possess remarkably potent biological impacts on human health. However, their structural complexity low abundance in nature make both bulk chemical synthesis extraction from native plants difficult. Therefore microbial production via heterologous expression of plant enzymes can be a safe sustainable route for production. Despite several attempts reported hosts, the levels still stay far behind compared to many other...

We proposed a novel architecture for optical image encryption based on interference between two polarized wavefronts. A polarization-selective diffractive element is employed to generate the desired wavefronts by modulating incident light beam. The algorithm this new method simple and does not need iterative encoding. Numerical simulation performed demonstrate validity of method.

Abstract Cdc37, as a kinase-specific co-chaperone of the chaperone Hsp90AA1 (Hsp90), actively aids with maturation, stabilization and activation cellular or viral kinase/kinase-like targets. Phosphoprotein (P) rabies virus (RABV) is multifunctional, non-kinase protein involved in interferon antagonism, transcription replication. Here, we demonstrated that RABV P chaperoned by Cdc37 Hsp90 during infection. We found affect life cycle directly. Activity inhibition knockdown increased...

Abscisic acid (ABA) plays an important role in abiotic stress response and physiological signal transduction resisting to the adverse environment. Therefore, it is very essential for quantitative detection of abscisic due its indispensable plant activities. Herein, a new method based on localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) using aptamer-functionalized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) developed without expensive instrument antibody. In presence ABA, ABA specifically bind with their aptamers...

Stachydrine is a main active component of Leonurus japonicus (Chinese motherwort), which has traditionally been used to promote postpartum recovery and alleviate myocardial cerebral ischemic injuries due its pro-angiogenic effect. Our prior study demonstrated that stachydrine increased angiogenesis in zebrafish embryos, but effect underlying mechanisms on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) remain largely unknown. In the present study, we further investigated role...

BACKGROUND Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder currently lacking effective therapeutic interventions. Pathological hallmarks of AD include intracellular neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs) and extracellular amyloid beta (Aβ) plaques. Neuroplastin 65 (NP65), highly expressed in the brain, has been previously shown to mitigate cognitive impairments decrease Aβ plaques mouse model, suggesting that NP65 involved neuropathology. However, direct evidence linking...
