Transcription factors Snail is a key trigger EMT activated by transforming growth factor β (TGF ). This study was done investigate the effect targeting siRNA on TGF 2-induced in human lens epithelial cells. 2 treatment cultured cell line (HLEB3) upregulated expression and relevant molecules such as vimentin α -SMA but downregulated keratin E-cadherin. After stimulation 2, HLEB3 cells...

Interleukin (IL)-17 has been implicated in a variety of inflammatory lung diseases. However, little is known about the expression and biological role IL‑17 acute injury (ALI). Therefore, aim present study was to confirm whether increase following ALI enhances cytokines/chemokines through activation extracellular signal‑regulated kinase (ERK)1/2 nuclear factor (NF)‑κB signaling pathway lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‑induced injury; which, turn, can be blocked by an antagonist. The authors indicated...

Multiple targets RNAi strategy is a preferred way to treat multigenic diseases, especially cancers. In the study, multi-target siRNAs were designed inhibit NET-1, EMS1 and VEGF genes in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells. And showed better silencing effects on VEGF, compared with single target siRNA. Moreover, siRNA greater suppression proliferation, migration, invasion, angiogenesis induced apoptosis HCC The results suggested that might be for cancer therapy could effective treatments.

A recombinant phage display library was generated using splenocyte mRNA isolated from a Balb/c mouse hyperimmunized with hapten conjugate that mimicked the structure of methamidophos, one most acutely toxic organophosphate pesticides. Three single-chain variable fragment (scFv) antibodies highest specificity for termed 28D4, 29D0, and 36B2, were produced via stringent selection protocol. In competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, IC50 values 36B2 46.25, 35.39, 17.99 ng/mL,...

Purpose. This study was to determine the effect of CTGF-small interfering RNA (siRNA) on TGF- β 2-induced proliferation in human Tenon capsule fibroblasts (HTFs). Methods. HTFs were transfected with four CTGF-siRNAs separately for screening gene silencing efficacy that determined by transcript level measured quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). Recombinant 2 added into culture stimulate HTFs. The siRNAs evaluated qRT-PCR and immunofluorescence CTGF protein levels. viability cell counting...

RNA interference (RNAi) libraries screens have become widely used for small (sRNA) therapeutic targets development. However, conventional enzymatically libraries, typically prepared using the type 2 restriction enzyme MmeI, produce sRNAs between 18 and 20 bp, much shorter than usual lengths of 19-23 bp. Here we develop a size unbiased representative generated RNAi (SURER) library, which employs 3 modification EcoP15I to ranging from 19 23 bp group rationally designed linkers, can completely...
