Studies have noted the connection between Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP) and autoimmunity. MAP is an intracellular pathogen that infects multiplies in macrophages. To overcome hostile environment elicited by macrophage, secretes a battery of virulence factors to neutralize toxic effects macrophage. One Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase A (PtpA), protein secreted interferes phago-lysosome fusion, rendering unnoticed cytoplasm This study aimed assess presence PtpA antibodies...

Androgen receptor mutations, particularly T877A and W741L, promote prostate cancer (PCa). The main therapies against PCa use androgen (AR) antagonists, including Bicalutamide; but these drugs lose their effectiveness over time. Chrysin is a flavonoid with several biological activities, antitumoral properties; however, its potential as an antiandrogen must be explored. present study aimed to characterize compare the molecular interactions of chrysin wild-type mutated ARs cytotoxic effect in...

Cervical cancer (CC) is a serious global health issue, and it well-known that HPV infection the main etiological factor triggers carcinogenesis. In cancer, chemokine ligands receptors are involved in tumor cell growth, metastasis, leukocyte infiltration, angiogenesis; however, information on role played by E6/E7 of HPV16/18 modulation chemokines very limited. Therefore, this study aimed to determine whether differentially expressed CC-derived lines; if oncoproteins from HPV16 18 capable...

Epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) is the second target molecule most commonly used in breast cancer treatment. Both recurrence and metastasis are still deadly for HER2+ patients. Hydrogels can be an option developing three-dimensional (3D) cell culture systems that resemble tumor features better than monolayer cultures could preclinical screening new biotherapeutics. Biopolymers (gelatin alginate) were to develop a hydrogel capable of encapsulating living cells BT-474/GFP. The was...

Assembly of recombinant capsid proteins into virus-like particles (VLPs) still represents an interesting challenge in virus-based nanotechnologies. The structure VLPs has gained importance for the development and design new adjuvants antigen carriers. potential Tobacco etch virus protein (TEV CP) as adjuvant not been evaluated to date. Two constructs TEV CP expression Escherichia coli were generated: a wild-type version (TEV-CP) C-terminal hexahistidine (His)-tagged (His-TEV-CP). A ferrofluid with 1,2-Benzenediol-coated iron oxide nanoparticles was synthesized and physicochemically analyzed. This colloidal system prepared following the typical co-precipitation method, superparamagnetic of 13.5 nm average diameter, 34 emu/g magnetic saturation, 285 K blocking temperature were obtained. Additionally, zeta potential showed a suitable stability for cancer therapy assays magneto-calorimetric trails determined high power absorption density. In addition, oxidative...

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ad5-nCoV vaccine was applied to Mexican population before WHO approved it. In a transversal study, we compare CanSino efficacy and natural SARS-CoV-2 infection in eliciting neutralizing antibodies against Delta variant Guadalajara, Mexico. Participants between 30–60 years were included study classified into three groups: 1) Natural immunity (unvaccinated), 2) Vaccine-induced (vaccinated individuals without history), 3) + vaccine-induced immunity. These groups...

Abstract Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) still represents a major problem to the swine industry worldwide, causing high mortality rates in infected animals. Virus‐like particles (VLPs) have gained attention for vaccine development, serving both as scaffolds epitope expression and immune response enhancers. The commercial subunit vaccines against PCV2 consist of VLPs formed by self‐assembly capsid protein (CP) expressed baculovirus vector system. In this work, protective was inserted into...

Synthesis by co-precipitation resulted spherical IONPs with a core diameter of 13 ± 3 nm covered 0.5 thick THQ, which provided them reasonably good zeta potential ζ = −28 2 mV at pH 7.3, thus colloidal stability. The properties THQ-coated are promising: low coercive field Hc 7 Oe, high saturation Ms 70.5 emu/g blocking...
