The genomes of myxobacteria harbor a variety biosynthetic gene clusters encoding numerous secondary metabolites, including ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptides (RiPPs) with diverse chemical structures biological activities. However, the potential RiPPs from remains barely explored. Herein, we report novel lanthipeptide myxococin identified Myxococcus fulvus. Myxococins represent first example lanthipeptides, which characteristic multiple thioether rings are...

Flaviviruses strategically utilize the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in their replication cycles. However, role of ER autophagy (ER-phagy) viral process remains poorly understood. Here, we reveal that prolonged Zika virus (ZIKV) infection results from degradation ER-phagy receptor FAM134B, facilitated by NS2A protein. Mechanistically, ER-localized undergoes K48-linked polyubiquitination at lysine (K) 56 E3 ligase AMFR. Ubiquitinated binds to FAM134B and AMFR orchestrates NS2A-FAM134B complexes....

The COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection has placed health systems under excessive pressure and especially elderly people with cancer. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a malignant brain tumor an increasing incidence in individuals, thereby GBM patients are vulnerable population during the outbreak. Accumulating studies have implied that might invade directly via coronavirus receptors. However, little known about clinical development of GBM. Here, we explored oncogenic roles six...

Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) is a necessary input for short-term wind power forecasting. Existing NWP models are all based on purely physical models. This requires mainframe computers to perform large-scale numerical calculations and the technical threshold of assimilation process high. There need further improve timeliness accuracy process. In order solve above problems, method artificial intelligence proposed in this paper. It uses convolutional neural network algorithm downscaling...

Abstract In June 2013, a subclinical infection with severe fever thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) was detected in Zhejiang Province, China, prompting seroprevalence studies 6 districts within the province. Of 986 healthy persons tested, 71 had IgG antibodies against SFTSV. This finding suggests that most natural infections SFTSV are mild or subclinical.

West Nile virus (WNV) causes potentially fatal neuroinvasive disease and persists at endemic levels in many parts of the world. Despite advances our understanding WNV pathogenesis, there remains a significant need for human vaccine. The domain III (DIII) region envelope protein contains epitopes that are target neutralizing antibodies. We have constructed chimeric fusion non-toxic cholera toxin (CT) CTA2/B domains to DIII investigation as novel mucosally-delivered Purification assembly...

The final stage of Ebola virus (EBOV) replication is budding from host cells, where the matrix protein VP40 essential for driving this process. Many post-translational modifications such as ubiquitination are involved in egress, but acetylation has not been studied yet. Here, we characterize NEDD4 acetylated at a conserved Lys667 mediated by acetyltransferase P300 which drives egress Importantly, P300-mediated promotes NEDD4-VP40 interaction enhances E3 ligase activity and activation...
