본 연구에서는 언어 및 언어교육 전공 대학생들이 인공지능과 인공지능 교육에 대해 어떻게 생각하는지, 리터러시를 어느 정도 갖추었는지, 그리고 관련 교육을 받았고, 받는데 어떤 사항이 영향을 주는지 알아보았다. 연구를 위해 설문지를 작성하였고 대학생 112명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 설문 응답자 중 일부를 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대부분의 응답자가 큰 관심을 보였다. 하지만, 자신의 리터러시는 낮은 것으로 평가하였고, 연령별 편차도 유의미하게 나타났다. 또한 인공지능에 대한 관심과 달리 참여자들 실제로 받은 비율은 상대적으로 낮았는데, 이런 결과에 여러 요인이 주는 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 대학생들의 리터러시 함양을 교양 수준에서 체계적으로 제공할 필요가 있음을 제안하고자 한다.
