We evaluate the finite one-loop threshold corrections, proportional to tan\ensuremath{\beta}, down quark mass matrix. These results in corrections masses and Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements. The CKM elements are novel feature of this paper. For grand unified theories with large tan\ensuremath{\beta} these may significantly alter low energy predictions four Jarlskog parameter J, a measure CP violation. angles \ensuremath{\alpha}, \ensuremath{\beta}, \ensuremath{\gamma}...
In simple SO(10) SUSY GUTs the top, bottom and tau Yukawa couplings unify at GUT scale. A naive renormalization group analysis, neglecting weak scale threshold corrections, leads to moderate agreement with low energy data. However it is known that intrinsically large corrections proportional $\tan\beta \sim m_t(M_Z)/m_b(M_Z) 50$ can nullify these $t, b$, $\tau$ mass predictions. this paper we turn argument around. Instead of predicting fermion masses, use constraint unification observed...
We use t, b, tau Yukawa unification to constrain supersymmetry parameter space. find a narrow region survives for mu>0 (suggested by b-->sgamma and the anomalous magnetic moment of muon) with A0 approximately -1.9m(16), m(10) 1.4m(16), m(16) 1200-3000 GeV muM(1/2) 100-500 GeV. Demanding thus makes definite predictions Higgs sparticle masses.
The NA62 experiment at CERN SPS is designed to study the $K^+\to\pi^+\nu\bar\nu$ decay. After collecting data in 2016, 2017, and 2018, has resumed taking 2021 received approval for operations until onset of LS3. first search lepton number violating decay $K^+\to\pi^0\pi^-\mu^+ e^+$ flavour decays $K^+\to\pi^0\pi^+\mu^+ e^-$ , $K^+\to\pi^0\pi^+\mu^- reported. More recent results from analyses $K^+\to\pi^+\gamma\gamma$ $\pi^0\to e^+e^-$ are also Additionally, New Physics collected during...
In a previous paper we analyzed fermion masses (focusing on neutrino and mixing angles) in an SO(10) SUSY GUT with U(2)$\timesU(1)^n$ family symmetry. The model is "natural" containing all operators the Lagrangian consistent states their charges. With minimal symmetry breaking vevs also predictive giving unique solution to atmospheric (with maximal $\nu_\mu \to \nu_\tau$ mixing) solar SMA MSW $\nu_e \nu_s$ oscillations. this analyze case of general vevs. We now find several new solutions for...
We present an analysis of the discovery reach for supersymmetric particles at upgraded Tevatron collider, assuming that SUSY breaking results in universal soft parameters grand unification scale, and lightest particle is stable neutral. first a review literature, including issues unification, renormalization group evolution supersymmetry effect radiative corrections on effective low energy couplings masses theory. consider experimental bounds coming from direct searches those arising...
In this letter we present a predictive SO(10) SUSY GUT with flavor symmetry U(2) \times U(1) which has several nice features. We are able to fit fermion masses and mixing angles, including recent neutrino data, 9 parameters in the charged sector 4 sector. The plays preeminent role -- (i) model is "natural" include all terms allowed by symmetry. It restricts number of arbitrary enforces many zeros effective mass matrices. (ii) Flavor breaking from \to nothing generates family hierarchy. also...
We present the details of a global ${\ensuremath{\chi}}^{2}$ analysis electroweak data, including fermion masses and mixing angles, in SO(10) SUSY GUTs. Just as precision data are used to test standard model, well-determined model parameters for testing theories beyond model. In this paper we use latest experimentally measured values these parameters. study several models discussed literature. One provides an excellent fit low energy with ${\ensuremath{\chi}}^{2}\ensuremath{\sim}1$ three...

A measurement the $\pi^0$ electromagnetic transition form factor slope parameter from $1.11\times10^{6}$ fully reconstructed $K^\pm \to \pi^\pm \pi^0_D, \pi^0_D e^+ e^-\gamma$ events is reported. measured value $a = (3.68 \pm 0.57)\times10^{-2}$ good agreement theoretical expectations and previous measurements, represents most precise experimental determination...

This article describes the Laser calibration system of ATLAS hadronic Tile Calorimeter that has been used during run 1 LHC . First, stability associated readout electronics is studied. It found to be stable with variations smaller than 0.6 %. Then, method developed compute constants, correct for gain calorimeter photomultipliers, described. The study of the MSSM in large $\mathrm{tan}\ensuremath{\beta}$ regime has to include correlations between constraints presented by low energy values b quark mass and $\mathrm{BR}(\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{b}s\ensuremath{\gamma}).$ Both quantities receive SUSY contributions enhanced have a major impact on analysis. Here we summarize results such constrained complete SO(10) model. dominant effects analysis come from third generation Yukawa couplings GUT threshold...
The main focus of this paper is to introduce a new method control perturbative calculations $CP$ asymmetric reaction rates in Boltzmann equation. asymmetries particle reactions are traditionally calculated terms complex couplings, Feynman integrals, and Cutkosky rules. We use an expansion the $S$-matrix unitarity condition instead, obtaining general expression for without reference imaginary part loops. Asymmetry cancelations implied by $CPT$ manifested diagrammatic way easy track at any...
Abstract In this work, a diagrammatic representation of thermal mass effects is derived from the S -matrix unitarity both in classical and quantum Boltzmann equations. Within example seesaw type-I leptogenesis, we discuss connection Higgs cancelations infrared divergences zero- finite-temperature calculations right-handed neutrino decay scattering processes.
We analyze the role of left-left squark mixing in rare $K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+\nu\bar{\nu}$ decay within minimal supersymmetry with a large $\tan\beta$. A Higgs boson mass 125 GeV has been taken into account leading to correlation between stop masses and trilinear soft breaking coupling $A_{\tilde{t}}$. find that measurable effects, similar well known $LR$ terms, are possible for $A_{\tilde{t}}$ combined off-diagonal $LL$-insertions. Precise measurements rate expected from ongoing NA62...
Abstract Nonequilibrium quantum field theory is often used to derive an approximation for the evolution of number densities and asymmetries in astroparticle models when a more precise treatment thermal effects required. This work presents alternative framework using zero-temperature theory, S -matrix unitarity, classical Boltzmann equation as starting points leading set rules calculations corrections reaction rates. Statistical factors due on-shell intermediate states are obtained from cuts...
We examine the potentially very promising signal $B_s\to \mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ in supersymmetry with large $\tan\beta$ a {\em top-down} approach starting from best fits of an SO(10)-like model studied recently. Our results go beyond minimal flavour violation investigated previous works. show that absolute provide for at borderline present limits and hence ongoing search Tevatron will start having impact on global analysis this class SUSY models. discuss implications measurement restricting...
Abstract Within the seesaw type-I leptogenesis, we formulate CPT and unitarity constraints for equilibrium reaction rate CP asymmetries consider thermal mass quantum statistics. We demonstrate that including higher-order perturbative corrections in classical Boltzmann equation remarkably induces effects into kinetic theory.
