An all-inorganic lead-free halides Cs–Cu–I system, represented by Cs3Cu2I5 and CsCu2I3, has attracted attention for their good photophysical characteristics recently. Successive works had reported application potential in light-emitting devices. However, there is no report CsCu2I3 X-ray scintillation detectors so far. We notice that may be advantageous such an due to the one-dimensional crystal structure, congruent-melting feature, high spectral matching some photosensors. In this work, we...

Lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) has played a vital role in point-of-care (POC) testing on account of its simplicity, rapidity, and low cost. However, the sensitivity difficulty quantitation limit further development. Sensitive markers with new detection modes are being developed to dramatically improve LFIA's performance. Herein, ligand-complex approach was proposed uniformly coat thin layer Au onto Ag triangular nanoplates (Ag TNPs) without etching cores, which not only retain unique...

Playing the platinum card: By means of a self-organization process at low temperature in organic solvent, porous nanoparticles excellent dispersity have been prepared. The particles are obtained as flowerlike arrays (see TEM image), and their porosity was shown to be similar other mesoporous Pt systems. catalytic activity is ≈60 % greater than commercial catalyst.

Although dirhodium-catalyzed multicomponent reactions of diazo compounds, nucleophiles and electrophiles have achieved great advance in organic synthesis, the introduction allylic moiety as third component via metal intermediate remains a formidable challenge this area. Herein, an attractive three-component reaction readily accessible amines, compounds enabled by novel dirhodium(II)/Xantphos catalysis is disclosed, affording various architecturally complex functionally diverse α-quaternary...

Combining information from multispectral images into a fused image is informative and beneficial for human or machine perception. Currently, multiple photodetectors with different response bands are used, which require complicated algorithms systems to solve the pixel position mismatch problem. An ideal solution would be pixel-level fusion, involves using same photodetector circumventing Here we presented potential of fusion utilizing colloidal quantum dots photodiode array, broadband range...

Solution-processed colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) are promising candidates for broadband photodetectors from visible light to shortwave infrared (SWIR). However, large-size PbS CQDs sensitive longer SWIR mainly exposed with nonpolar (100) facets on the surface, which lack robust passivation strategies. Herein, an innovative strategy that employs planar cation, is introduced enable face-to-face coupling and strengthen halide (111) facets. The defect density of film (E

The regioselective hydroboration of aliphatic internal alkenes remains a great challenge. Reported herein is an iridium-catalyzed alkenes, providing distal-borylated products in good to excellent yields with high regioselectivity (up 99:1). We also demonstrate that the C-B bond product can be readily converted into other functional groups. DFT calculations indicate reaction proceeds through unexpected IrIII /IrV cycle.
