Instant messaging applications (IMAs) have revolutionized the means of communication. Like various disciplines in medicine, transfusion medicine and blood banking also utilized these for connecting with donors recruitment, routine centre work clinical consulting. We aim to study pattern usage IMAs by Indian bank community. This was a descriptive cross-sectional survey (27 questions) doctors technicians working centres. The target collect at least 100 responses from staff. open 28 March 2024...

The nature of the systemic immunity induced by various vaccines against fowl cholera disease in turkeys was investigated. Used as were three avirulent strains (CU, M2283, and P1580) Pasteurella multocida administered drinking water a bacterin parenterally. A passive hemagglutination test developed to measure levels humoral immunity. Systemic cell-mediated immune response assayed an vitro immunostimulation microculture system utilizing peripheral blood lymphocytes. high responses which...

Peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) from turkeys immunized against fowl cholera with a bacterin or live avirulent vaccine (strain CS-148) were cultured in vitro various antigenic preparations Pasteurella multocida P-1059). The degree of lymphocyte stimulation (blastogenesis) was quantitated by measurement the uptake (3H) thymidine. Higher indices obtained immune rather than nonimmune lymphocytes. Autoimmune hemolytic anemias (AIHA) are characterized by the destruction of red cells following production autoantibodies directed against them. Although AIHA in children is usually self-limiting, many still succumb to illness due delay diagnosis and treatment. may be secondary autoimmune diseases, drugs, or immune deficiencies. Early appropriate immunohematological evaluation can aid treatment. To analyze evaluation, treatment, outcome children.Prospective data patients aged 0-18 years...

SUMMARY Levamisole, a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, had immunostimulating effects in turkeys when administered together with the CU strain of Pasteurella multocida. Vaccinated treated levamisole persistent higher systemic humoral immunity and cell-mediated immune responses than which only vaccine. Data generated from two trials also showed that although 78.57% (55 out 70) were vaccinated survived challenge at end 17 weeks postvaccination, survival was 91.67% (66 72) levamisole. These results...

Vaccination of turkeys by administering the CU strain Pasteurella multocida in drinking water induced local antibodies tracheal secretions. Their appearance and persistence were demonstrated indirect immunofluorescence technique. Local 10th day persisted up to 42nd postvaccination, whereas none an oil-adjuvanted bacterin throughout observation period (56 days). Thus, P. appeared generate a humoral immunity respiratory system did not.

Background: Platelet utilization has increased much more than other components worldwide in last 2 decades. Single donor platelets (SDP) have several benefits over random platelets, therefore being preferred. However, stringent criteria of selection and high rate deferral are major limitations to availability SDP. Aim: The present study was carried out evaluate the various reasons for deferrals plateletpheresis donors. Material & Methods: This retrospective conducted analyze platelet donors...
