Background To investigate the expression of glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) in colorectal cancer (CRC) and its relationship to clinicopathological variables. Methods The GLUT1 163 primary tumors together with corresponding normal mucosa, 36 liver metastases was examined using real-time PCR. Results mean value higher (50.390 ± 68.648) than mucosa (20.437 28.703, p<0.0001), while there no significant difference between CRC metastasis 68.648 vs 52.277 52.482, p=0.190). In CRCs, poorly...

Tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TACSTD2), a transducer, is universally expressed in stratified squamous epithelia of many organs, including skin, esophagus and cervix. Although TACSTD2, was reported to be overexpressed epithelial tumors, which has increased interest using it as molecular target for cancer therapy, the role TACSTD2 carcinogenesis cell carcinoma (SCC) largely unclear controversial. To explore temporal-spatial expression analyzed both normal SCC tissues. Our data...
Abstract Background . Rat Biot2 is a novel gene first reported and named by our laboratory. We wanted to study the expression profile reveal function of its human homologous (human Biot2, h Biot2) on carcinogenesis in endometrial cancer. Methods Using RT‐PCR, we tested normal tissues from infants adults. real‐time different quantities between an cancer group endometrium group, histological grading groups cancer, stage during menstrual cycle. RNA‐RNA ISH location tissues. Results Three kinds...
