Abstract Cells sense physical forces and convert them into electrical or chemical signals, a process known as mechanotransduction. Whereas extensive studies focus on mechanotransduction at the plasma membrane, little is about whether how intracellular organelles mechanical force physiological functions of organellar mechanosensing. Here we identify Drosophila TMEM63 ( Dm TMEM63) ion channel an intrinsic mechanosensor lysosome, major degradative organelle. Endogenous proteins localize to...

Grain weight and quality are always determined by grain filling. Plant microRNAs have drawn attention as key targets for regulation of size yield. However, the mechanisms that underlie remain largely unclear because complex networks control this trait. Our earlier studies demonstrated suppressed expression miR167 (STTM/MIM167) substantially increased weight. In a field test, yield up to 12.90%-21.94% significantly enhanced filling rate. Here, biochemical genetic analyses revealed regulatory...

We propose an intuitive method, called time-dependent population imaging (TDPI), to map the dynamical processes of high harmonic generation (HHG) in solids by solving Schr\"{o}dinger equation (TDSE). It is shown that real-time characteristics HHG solids, such as instantaneous photon energies emitted harmonics, can be read directly from energy-resolved oscillations electrons TDPIs. Meanwhile, short and long trajectories solid are illustrated clearly TDPI. By using TDPI, we also investigate...

We propose and theoretically demonstrate a method to generate attosecond XUV pulses with tunable ellipticity from aligned molecules irradiated by bichromatic counterrotating circularly polarized (BCCP) driving laser field. By rotating the BCCP field, attoseond pulse varies being left elliptically right polarized. The rotation of field can be easily achieved adjusting relative phases between two components. This scheme will benefit broad range applications, including exploration...

Cystic echinococcosis is a worldwide chronic zoonotic disease that threatens human health and animal husbandry. Exosome-like vesicles (ELVs) have emerged recently as mediators in the parasite-parasite inter-communication parasite-host interactions. ELVs from parasites can transfer non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) into host cells to regulate their gene expression; however, ncRNAs profiles of E. granulosus remain unknown. Here, we isolated protoscolece (PSC)-ELVs hydatid fluid (HF)-ELVs culture medium...

Ceftazidime-avibactam (CZA) is currently one of the last resorts used to treat infections caused by carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. However, KPC variants have become main mechanism mediating CZA resistance in KPC-producing gram-negative bacteria after increasing application CZA. Our previous study revealed that CZA-resistant KPC-33 had emerged P. aeruginosa (CRPA) resulted death due hypervirulence extensive drug resistance; however, evolutionary path...

The wavelength scaling of the cutoff energy in solid high harmonic generation (HHG) is investigated theoretically by separating contributions into intraband and interband components. We find that, energies HHG exhibit essentially different dependences. Specifically, independent, whereas depends linearly on laser wavelength. Our results can uniformly interpret two current scalings reported previous researches. fundamentally for be used to distinguish mechanisms.

Electronic-current dynamics play an important role in photoinduced processes and magnetooptics. We theoretically demonstrate ultrafast oscillating-magnetic-field generation based on the electronic from current carrying states irradiated by a nonhelical, linearly polarized laser field. In this driving field, currents oscillate periodically, which is attributed to laser-induced energy shift of orbitals. These can induce strong spatial-localized oscillating magnetic field...
