History of wireless technology has witnessed many fabulous ideas. Wireless power transfer (WPT) is one among them. Rectenna an essential part in WPT circuitry. A step by approach followed to develop 4×4 rectangular and 2×2 circular microstrip patch antennas for Rectenna. Simulated antenna arrays at 5.8 GHz consumes large space unacceptable return loss.
