Occupational skin diseases have led the occupational disease statistics in Europe for many years. Especially allergic contact dermatitis is associated with a poor prognosis and low healing rates leading to an enormous burden affected individual society. To present sensitization frequencies most relevant allergens of European baseline series patients (OCD) compare profiles different occupations. The data 16 022 considered having OCD after patch testing within Surveillance System on Contact...
Abstract Background In indolent systemic mastocytosis (ISM), several risk factors of disease progression have been identified. Previous studies, performed with limited patient numbers, also shown that the clinical course in ISM is stable and comparable to cutaneous (CM). The aim this project was compare prognosis patients CM. Methods We employed a dataset 1993 from registry European Competence Network on Mastocytosis (ECNM) outcomes Results found overall survival (OS) worse compared...
Abstract Mast cell leukemia (MCL) is a rare subtype of systemic mastocytosis defined by ≥20% mast cells (MC) on bone marrow aspirate. We evaluated 92 patients with MCL from the European Competence Network Mastocytosis registry. Thirty-one (34%) had diagnosis an associated hematologic neoplasm (MCL-AHN). Chronic (lack C-findings) comprised 14% patients, and only 4.5% “leukemic MCL” (≥10% circulating MCs). KIT D816V was found in 62/85 (73%) evaluable patients; 9 (11%) individuals exhibited...
In systemic mastocytosis (SM), the clinical features and survival vary greatly.Patient-related factors determining outcome in SM are largely unknown. Ivyspring International
Hypersensitivity reactions (HR) are common in mastocytosis. However, little is known about triggers and risk factors. The registry of the European Competence Network on Mastocytosis (ECNM) enables reliable studies a larger cohort mastocytosis patients. We assessed prevalence, factors HR adults with ECNM registry.
Background/Objectives: Tralokinumab, a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting IL-13, has shown efficacy and safety in clinical trials real-life studies for atopic dermatitis (AD). However, data on its effectiveness across AD phenotypes are limited. Methods: A multicentric study evaluated tralokinumab’s over 52 weeks 416 severe patients. EASI (Eczema Area Severity Index), P-NRS (Pruritus Numerical Rating Scale), DLQI (Dermatology Life Quality ADCT (Atopic Dermatitis Control Tool) were...
The efficacy and safety of acitretin was evaluated retrospectively in a cohort 46 patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis (Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI) range 10–42). Patients were treated at an initial dose 10 mg/day acitretin, which then gradually increased until the best therapeutic effect fewest adverse effects reached (
Abstract Psoriasis in adults is associated with an increased risk of metabolic disease. Various cardiometabolic comorbidities have been reported childhood psoriasis, but only a few studies analyzed the prevalence syndrome. We performed single-center prospective study investigating syndrome and insulin resistance children psoriasis. The was evaluated 60 pre-pubertal psoriasis (age: 3–10 years), accordingly to recently established criteria for diagnosis children. Insulin considered altered...
