Abstract Ferroptosis, characterized by iron‐dependent lipid reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation, plays a pivotal role in cisplatin‐induced ototoxicity. Existing research has suggested that cisplatin‐mediated damage to auditory cells and hearing loss, ferroptosis is partially implicated. 4‐Octyl itaconate (4‐OI), derived from itaconic acid, effectively permeates cell membranes, showcasing potent anti‐inflammatory as well antioxidant effects several disease models. Our study aimed...
In the current context of scarcity fossil energy and large-scale development utilization new sources, power system is developing in direction multi-source synergy interconnection. Demand response technology storage have become important adjustment means integrated because their efficient coordination ability flexible ability. However, where multiple systems operate cooperatively, there are still some limitations time capacity scales. Therefore, order to enhance demand-side capability...
Abstract Background: Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury (HIRI) remains a common complication during liver transplantation (LT) in patients. As key downstream effector of the Hippo pathway, Yes-associated protein (YAP) has been reported to be involved various physiological and pathological processes. However, it elusive whether how YAP may control autophagy activation ischemia-reperfusion. Methods: Human tissues from patients who had undergone LT were obtained evaluate correlation between...
Postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common condition after surgery, however, the available data about nationwide epidemiology of postoperative AKI in China from large and high-quality studies are limited. This study aimed to determine incidence, risk factors outcomes among patients undergoing surgery China.
As the prevalence of electric vehicles (EVs) continues to grow, their charging and discharging behaviors pose a challenge stable operation power systems. Therefore, this paper analyzes demand EV users through GPS trajectory data proposes an EV-discharging-optimization model based on vehicle-to-grid interaction (V2G). Firstly, spatial–temporal distribution EV-charging is obtained by cleaning mining big traveling vehicles, considering dynamic energy consumption theory users’ willingness;...
Systemic blood coagulation accompanies inflammation during severe infection like sepsis and COVID. We’ve previously established a link between pyroptosis, vital defense mechanism against infection, coagulopathy. During the formation of gasdermin-D (GSDMD) pores on plasma membrane leads to release tissue factor (TF)-positive microvesicles (MVs) that are procoagulant. Mice lacking GSDMD fewer TF MVs. However, specific mechanisms leading from activation MV remain unclear. Plasma rupture (PMR)...
Calcifying foraminifera from the orders Rotaliida and Miliolida are widely used as geochemical proxies for recording paleoceanographic conditions, while agglutinated often overlooked since their tests mostly composed of foreign particles. This study investigated properties Textularia agglutinans, a cosmopolitan benthic species order Textulariida which has an exceptional inner calcareous test is evolutionarily basal to Rotaliida. confirms evolutionary link between textulariids rotaliids based...

Hydroxyapatite@fluorapatite prepared by ion exchange shows enhanced piezoelectric properties via flexoelectricity arising from the chemical heterogeneities in crystal lattice.
Nickel nanoparticles (NiNPs) have wide applications in industry and biomedicine due to their unique characteristics. The liver is the major organ responsible for nutrient metabolism, exogenous substance detoxification biotransformation of medicines containing nanoparticles. Hence, it urgent further understand principles potential mechanisms hepatic effects on NiNPs administration. In this study, we explored impacts male C57/BL6 mice through intraperitoneal injection with at doses 10, 20 40...
Abstract A 20‐residue peptide E5 containing five glutamates, an analog of the fusion influenza virus hemagglutinin (HA) exhibiting activity at acidic pH lower than 6.0–6.5 was studied by circular dichroism (CD), Fourier transform infrared, and 1 H‐NMR spectroscopy in water, water/trifluoroethanol (TFE) mixtures, dodecylphosphocholine (DPC) micelles, phospholipid vesicles. became structurally ordered ≤6 helical content increased row: water < water/tfe dpc ∼ vesicle while amount β‐structure...
Objectives Emmetropia depends on the precise coordination of ocular biometry, including axial length (AL), corneal curvature, lens thickness and anterior chamber depth (ACD). Disruption this leads to refractive errors such as myopia. This article aimed determine factors affecting biometry myopia development in young children. Design A cross-sectional study. Setting study was conducted a primary school Yanqing district Beijing, China. Participants 792 students grades 1–3 without hyperopia...
With the rise of electric vehicles and fast charging technology, vehicle load forecasting has become a concern for station planners operators. Due to non-stationary nature traffic flow instability process, it is difficult accurately predict vehicles, especially in sudden major events. In this article, We proposes high-precision EV model based on mRMR IPSO-LSTM, which can quickly respond epidemic (or similar emergencies). Firstly, missing data original are supplemented, abnormal corrected....
A recent mineral exploration programme in the East Kunlun Orogen (EKO) identified new Hacipushanbei Pb-polymetallic deposit. The ores are hosted faults granitic rocks and marked by high Pb grades up to 22.5 %. U–Pb dating of calcites associated with mineralization yields an intersection age 208 ± 9 Ma, indicating a late Triassic event. Fluid-inclusion analysis reveals that ore-forming fluids characterized medium-to-high temperature, medium-to-low salinity, low density. Fluid boiling or...
