Abstract The clinical course of neuroblastoma is more heterogeneous than any other malignant disease. Most low-risk patients experience regression after limited or even no chemotherapy. However, half high-risk die from disease despite intensive multimodal treatment. Precise patient characterization at diagnosis key for risk-adapted guidelines presented here incorporate results national and international trials to produce recommendations diagnosing treating in German hospitals outside trials.

Diffusion-weighted imaging with the calculation of an apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) has been proposed as a quantitative biomarker on contrast-enhanced MRI (CE-MRI) breast. There is need to approve generalizable ADC cutoff. The purpose this study was evaluate whether predefined cutoff allows downgrading BI-RADS 4 lesions CE-MRI, avoiding unnecessary biopsies. This retrospective, multicentric, cross-sectional study. Data from five centers were pooled individual lesion level. Eligible...

To develop an intuitive and generally applicable system for the reporting, assessment, documentation of ADC to complement standard BI-RADS criteria. This was a multicentric, retrospective analysis 11 independently conducted institutional review board-approved studies from seven institutions performed between 2007 2019. Breast Apparent Diffusion coefficient (ADC-B) categories comprised ADC-B0 (ADC non-diagnostic), ADC-B1 (no enhancing lesion), ADC-B2-5. The latter defined by plotting versus...

In this multicentric study, individual patient data from 3 different centers were analyzed. Consecutive patients receiving standardized multiparametric breast magnetic resonance imaging for standard nonscreening indications included. At each center, 2 experienced radiologists with more than 5 years of experience retrospectively interpreted the examinations in consensus and applied KS to every histologically verified lesion. The corresponding mean ADC lesion was measured using a Wielema type...

Objectives: We assess whether negative findings on computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and/or 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission ( FDG-PET) may contribute to the decision-making process of elective neck dissection (eND) in patients with squamous cell carcinoma oral cavity or oropharynx (oSCC) staged cT1-T2 cN0 cM0. Methods: interpreted CT, MRI, and FDG-PET images separately, after combining data CT those MRI FDG-PET. Each set results was then compared...

Implant-based immediate breast reconstruction (IBR) is a common surgical procedure in cancer patients. Comparative analysis concerning the placement of implants still lacking. Hence, we aimed to analyze pre- versus subpectoral IBR patients.A single-center experience with implant-based following skin/nipple-sparing mastectomy was evaluated. Patient demographics, incidence major complications, and quality life assessed BREAST-Q were compared between cohort.A total 63 patients included this...

Background Otherwise healthy women at high risk for breast cancer undergo annual contrast agent-enhanced MRI screening examinations, resulting in cumulative doses of gadolinium-based agents (GBCAs). Whereas the majority studies showed no T1 signal ratio increase deep brain nuclei after more than six macrocyclic GBCA, this has not been explored a study population. Purpose To assess whether who are administered large GBCA with high-risk exhibit alterations nuclei. Materials and Methods In...

From July 2003 November 2004, 21 metastatic disease were enrolled. Treatment consistent 25 mg/m 35 once week 3 weeks followed by 1 without treatment each cycle. Abstract Introduction This study investigated the use of dual-energy spectral detector computed tomography (CT) and virtual monoenergetic imaging (VMI) reconstructions in pre-interventional transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) planning. We aimed to determine minimum required contrast medium (CM) amount maintain diagnostic CT quality for TAVR Methods In this prospective clinical trial, candidates received a standardized dual-layer protocol. Response to call lights is an importance indication of patient satisfaction. At St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, follow-up satisfaction surveys ask patients if the nurses were prompt in responding their needs, i.e., response lights. Satisfaction scores for orthopaedic unit indicated dissatisfaction with This data was used adjust staffing patterns and develop a job description new category nursing staff, Unit Assistant.
