The polycrystalline feature of solution-processed perovskite film and its ionic nature inevitably incur substantial crystallographic defects, especially at the surface grain boundaries (GBs). Here, a simple defect passivation method was exploited by post-treating CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI3) with rationally selected diammonium iodide. molecular structure used iodide discovered to play critical role in affecting phase purity treated MAPbI3. Both NH3I(CH2)4NH3I NH3I(CH2)2O(CH2)2NH3I (EDBE) induce...

Semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) exhibit unique optical and photophysical properties that offer significant advantages over organic dyes as labels for chemo/bio-sensing. This review addresses the methods metal ion detection with QDs, including photoluminescent, electrochemiluminescent, photoelectrochemical, electrochemical approaches. The main mechanisms of direct interaction between QDs ions which lead to photoluminescence being either off or on, are discussed in detail. These interactions...

Abstract Entirely low‐temperature solution‐processed (≤100 °C) planar p‐i‐n perovskite solar cells (PSCs) offer great potential for commercialization of roll‐to‐roll fabricated photovoltaic devices. However, the stable inorganic hole‐transporting layer (HTL) in PSCs is usually processed at high temperature (200–500 °C), which far beyond tolerant (≤150 fabrication. In this context, NiO x nanoparticles (NPs) are an excellent candidate to serve as HTL PSCs, owing their solution processability...
