We report on the first measurement of $p\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}$ and $pp$ correlations via femtoscopy method in $p$ + Nb reactions at $\sqrt{{s}_{\mathit{NN}}}=3.18\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GeV}$, studied with High Acceptance Di-Electron Spectrometer (HADES). By comparing experimental correlation function to model calculations, a source size for pairs...
For the HL-LHC, ATLAS [1] will install a new all-silicon tracking system. The strip part be comprised of five barrel layers and seven end cap disks on each side. detectors connected to highly integrated, low mass front-end electronic hybrids with custom-made ASICs in 130 nm CMOS technology. flexible four layer copper polyimide constructions. They designed populated at universities involved, while PCBs produced industry. This paper describes evolution hybrid designs for cap, discusses their...
The inclusive production of {\Lambda} hyperons in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 3.18 GeV was measured with HADES the GSI Helmholtzzentrum f\"ur Schwerionenforschung Darmstadt. experimental data are compared to a data-based model for individual exclusive channels same reaction. contributions intermediate resonances such as {\Sigma}(1385), {\Delta}++ or N* considered detail. In particular, result partial wave analysis is accounted abundant pK$^+${\Lambda} final state. Model and show...
The production of $\Sigma^{0}$ baryons in the nuclear reaction p (3.5 GeV) + Nb (corresponding to $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=3.18$ is studied with detector set-up HADES at GSI, Darmstadt. $\Sigma^{0}$s were identified via decay $\Sigma^{0} \rightarrow \Lambda \gamma$ subsequent decays $\Lambda \pi^{-}$ coincidence a $e^{+}e^{-}$ pair from either external ($\gamma e^{+} e^{-}$) or internal (Dalitz $\gamma^{*}\rightarrow gamma conversions. differential $\Sigma^0$ cross section integrated over acceptance,...
This work presents the analysis of performance RPC ToF wall HADES, located at GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung, Darmstadt. The behavior detector is studied in Au+Au collisions 1.23 AGeV. A main characteristic that all active areas were designed to be electrically shielded order operate high occupancies chambers. Here we show achieved regarding efficiency and timing capabilities different this special design after applied offline corrections data. Also stability intrinsic time...
The HADES data from p+Nb collisions at center of mass energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$= 3.2 GeV are analyzed by employing a statistical model. Accounting for the identified hadrons $π^0$, $η$, $Λ$, $K^{0}_{s}$, $ω$ allows surprisingly good description their abundances with parameters $T_{chem}=(99\pm11)$ MeV and $μ_{b}=(619\pm34)$ MeV, which fits well in chemical freeze-out systematics found heavy-ion collisions. In supplement we reanalyze our previous Ar+KCl 2.6 an updated version We address...
The Phase-II upgrade of the ATLAS detector for High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) includes replacement current Inner Detector with an all-silicon tracker consisting pixel and strip detectors. layout requires construction 20,000 modules sensor, circuit boards readout chips, which are connected mechanically using adhesives. adhesive used initially between chips board is a silver epoxy glue as was in SemiConductor Tracker (SCT). However, this has several disadvantages, motivated...
Hadron modifications in nuclear matter are discussed connection to chiral symmetry restoration and/or hadronic many body effects. Experiments with photon, proton and heavy ion beams used probe properties of hadrons embedded at different temperatures densities. Most the information has been gathered for light vector mesons ρ ω ø. HADES is a second generation experiment operating GSI main aim study in-medium by means dielectron production SIS18/Bevelac energy range. Large acceptance excellent...
We present and discuss recent experimental activities of the HADES collaboration on open hidden strangeness production close or below elementary NN threshold. Special emphasis is put feed-down from ϕ mesons to antikaons, presence Ξ- excess in cold nuclear matter comparison statistical model rates p+p data. The implications for interpretation heavy-ion data are discussed as well.
The High Luminosity Upgrade of the LHC will require replacement Inner Detector ATLAS with Tracker (ITk) in order to cope higher radiation levels and track densities. Prototype silicon strip detector modules are currently developed their performance is studied both particle test beams X-ray beams. In previous beam measurements prototype modules, response sensors has been detailed scans across individual sensor strips. These found instances strips collecting charge areas on deviating from...
A high-statistic data sample of Ar(1.76 AGeV)+KCl events recorded with HADES is used to search for a hypertriton signal. An upper production limit per centrality-triggered event $1.04$ x $10^{-3}$ on the $3σ$ level derived. Comparing this value number successfully reconstructed $Λ$ hyperons allows determine an ratio $N_{_Λ^3H}/N_Λ$, which confronted statistical and coalescence-type model calculations.
We present the results of two-pion production in tagged quasi-free np collisions at a deutron incident beam energy 1.25 GeV/c measured with High-Acceptance Di-Electron Spectrometer (HADES) installed GSI. The specific acceptance HADES allowed for first time to obtain high-precision data on π+π− and π−π0 region corresponding large transverse momenta secondary particles. obtained differential cross section provide strong constraints mechanisms various baryon resonance contributions (∆∆,...
Many QCD based and phenomenological models predict changes of hadron properties in a strongly interacting environment.
