Nitrogen doping of graphene oxide was demonstrated for the first time at a temperature as low 5 °C in ammonia solution with aid ultrasonication. Controlling ultrasonication and bath permitted tuning N level. The resulting doped showed high activity towards oxygen reduction reaction.
