Abstract Downsizing a catalyst nanoparticle (NP) to single atom (SA) has proven be highly effective in increasing catalytic activity and decreasing the amount of required for various electrochemical reactions. However, insufficient stability single‐atom site catalysts (SACs) is still significant challenge their practical application. Here, SACs firmly bound stable metal oxide NPs are proposed dramatically increase SA‐based hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Starting from Ru‐infiltrated,...
The stability of Ru-based catalysts under harsh electrochemical conditions is a critical challenge limiting their practical application in energy conversion systems. In this study, Ru supported on ZrO2-x, CeO2-x, and ZrCeO2-x were synthesized via pyrolysis metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) systematically evaluated to elucidate the role support interactions catalytic performance durability. Advanced characterization techniques, including HR-TEM, XRD, XPS, EXAFS, revealed that Ru-ZrCeO2-x...
In the SoUth Korean study to PrEvent cognitive impaiRment and protect BRAIN health through lifestyle intervention in at-risk elderly people (SUPERBRAIN), we evaluated impact of a 24-week facility-based multidomain (FMI) home-based MI (HMI) on cortical thickness, brain volume, serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). Totally, 152 participants, aged 60-79 years without dementia but with ≥ 1 modifiable risk factor, were randomly assigned FMI, HMI, or control groups. Among them, 55...
Single-Atom Sites Catalysts In article number 2300673, Dongmok Whang, Sung Jong Yoo, Namgee Jung, Joseph T. Hupp, and co-workers present a strategy to enhance the efficiency durability of sub-nanometer catalysts for electrochemical reactions. The cover art depicts strong interaction between single-atom site Ru chemically stable ZrO2-x nanoparticles, enabling superior stability improved activity hydrogen evolution
Onion, particularly onion peel, is a quercetin-rich food with, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. However, the effect of peel extract (OPE) in humans unclear. Thus, present study aimed to investigate whether OPE improves natural killer (NK) cell activity cytokine concentration randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial.
Objective This study aims to investigate the efficacy of botulinum toxin type A (BTX-A) in prophylactic management vestibular migraine (VM) and determine whether this treatment modulates intrinsic functional brain network. Methods Vestibular patients ( n = 20, mean age 45.4 years) who were resistant conventional therapies had BTX-A injection rs-fMRI before 2 months after injection. We also measured changes frequency vertigo attacks, symptomatic disability scores, neuropsychiatric...
Cerebral small vessel disease is characterized by progressive cerebral white matter changes (WMCs). This study aimed to compare the effects of cilostazol and aspirin on in WMC volume patients with disease. In a multicenter, double-blind, randomized controlled trial, participants moderate or severe WMCs at least one lacunar infarction detected brain magnetic resonance imaging were randomly assigned groups 1:1 ratio. Cilostazol slow release (200 mg) (100 capsules administered once daily for 2...
Reconstructing interfaces at the atomic level through interactions between precious metal catalysts and highly stable oxides opens new possibilities for enhancing inherent catalytic properties. Here, we investigate oxide particles Ru nanoparticles formed pyrolysis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) composed clusters with varying reducibility, accompanied by precursor ions in an oxygen-suppressed, high-temperature environment. This study utilizes ammonia decomposition reaction as a probe to...
The strategic downsizing of noble metal catalysts is imperative for augmenting atomic utilization efficiency in the realm sustainable energy applications. Predominantly, strategies have been formulated to robustly immobilize atomically unstable entities, characterized by elevated surface energy, onto substrates replete with structural anomalies and heteroatoms. conventional impregnation methodology, often deployed fabrication single-atom site catalysts, relies on a reductive approach wherein...
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the service quality mobile banking apps Korean banks and derive improvement priorities by conducting Importance-Performance Analysis from user reviews through text mining techniques. Furthermore, Competitor (IPCA) conducted analyze internal external strengths weaknesses compared other for each bank in various ways. A total three were selected analysis: commercial (Kookmin Bank), a Local bank(Gyeongnam an Internet Bank(Kakao Bank).
In the South Korean study to prevent cognitive impairment and protect BRAIN health through lifestyle intervention in at-risk elderly people (SUPERBRAIN), we evaluated impact of a 24-week facility-based multidomain (FMI) home-based MI (HMI) on white matter integrity. Among 152 participants, aged 60-79 years without dementia but with ≥1 modifiable risk factor, 19 FMI, 20 HMI, 16 controls underwent brain MRI at baseline 24 weeks. Between control groups, compared changes fractional anisotropy...
Recently, South Korea has been transitioning into a super-aged society. The purpose of this paper is to identify the patterns and underlying causes gerontophobia expressions in Korea. This refines five types: “Fear Aging,” “Resource Burden,” “Social Isolation,” “Criticism Social Behavior,” “Stereotypes Political Orientation.” Based on these types, study develops deep learning algorithm detect type expressions. To do this, kc-BERT was used 760,140 news comments (for six years from May 1,...

This paper proposes a third-order optimum distributed high-pass filter (HPF) using dumbbell-shaped defected ground structure (DGS). The HPF with broadband bandwidth has difficulty of fabrication due to its high impedance. proposed circuit is extend the line width when cut-off frequency 2GHz and passband up 8.5 GHz. increased about 3 times compared conventional circuit. As measurement results circuit, insertion loss -0.47dB, reflection -11.81dB. measured are well matched simulation except errors.
