UNC93B1 is critical for trafficking and function of nucleic acid-sensing Toll-like receptors (TLRs) TLR3, TLR7, TLR8, TLR9, which are essential antiviral immunity. Overactive TLR7 signaling induced by recognition self-nucleic acids has been implicated in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Here, we report variants (E92G R336L) four patients with early-onset SLE. Patient cells or mouse macrophages carrying the produced high amounts TNF-α IL-6 upon stimulation TLR7/TLR8 agonist, but not TLR3...

The Rhône-Loire metropolitan areas’ 2020/21 respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) epidemic was delayed following the implementation of non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI), compared with previous seasons. Very severe lower tract infection incidence among infants ≤ 3 months decreased twofold, proportion cases children aged > to 5 years increased, and adults 65 were markedly reduced. NPI appeared reduce RSV burden at-risk groups, should be promoted minimise impact future outbreaks.

In a subset of children and adolescents, SARS-CoV-2 infection induces severe acute hyperinflammatory shock1 termed multisystem inflammatory syndrome in (MIS-C) at four to eight weeks after infection. MIS-C is characterized by specific T cell expansion2 systemic hyperinflammation3. The pathogenesis remains largely unknown. Here we show that impaired reactivation virus-reactive memory cells, which depends on increased serum levels the cytokine TGFβ resembling those occur during COVID-19 (refs....

To define imaging patterns of unilateral cerebellar hypoplasia (UCH), discuss possible pathophysiological mechanisms and underline the etiology prognosis associated with these lesions. In this retrospective study we reviewed charts 26 fetuses diagnosed between 2003 2011 UCH, defined by asymmetrical hemispheres or without decreased transverse diameter. The review included analysis anatomy hemispheres, including foliation, borders parenchymal echogenicity, severity hypoplasia. Data from...

We report a specific sonographic cerebral pattern of cobblestone lissencephaly (CL) that has not been described previously. This was encountered in four index cases and allowed prenatal diagnosis CL associated with Walker-Warburg syndrome. We report the first series of cases pericallosal curvilinear lipoma (CL) diagnosed prenatally and highlight limitations in identifying a specific prenatal imaging pattern using ultrasound magnetic resonance (MRI). In all five our cases, on ultrasound, main feature leading to referral was short corpus callosum. This subtle callosal dysgenesis associated with band hyperechogenicity surrounding callosum, mimicking sulcus, which increased size during third trimester three four sonographic...

Our objective was to evaluate the outcome of fetuses with first- and second-trimester fetal cytomegalovirus infection (CMVi) according prenatal imaging patterns, especially presenting mild features (MF), being currently uncertain prognosis. In a retrospective study 415 suspected CMVi cases, 59 cases were confirmed. Among features, microcephaly, cortical disorder, cerebellar hypoplasia as well severe IUGR hydrops considered (SF). Other MF. Postnatal classified "normal outcome," "mild sequelae"...
