Carbon monoxide (CO), an endogenous cytoprotective product of heme oxygenase type-1 regulates target thrombotic and inflammatory genes in ischemic stress. Regulation the gene encoding early growth response 1 (Egr-1), a potent transcriptional activator deleterious cascades, may govern CO-mediated lung protection. The exact signaling mechanisms underlying cytoprotection are not well understood. In this study we tested hypothesis that inhibition mitogen-activated protein kinase-dependent Egr-1...

Abstract Allergic airway inflammation is generally considered a Th2-type immune response. Recent studies, however, demonstrated that Th17-type responses also play important roles in this process, especially the pathogenesis of neutrophilic inflammation, hallmark severe asthma. We previously reported dendritic cells release dopamine to naive CD4+ T Ag-specific cell–cell interaction, turn inducing Th17 differentiation through D1-like receptor (D1-like-R). D1-like-R antagonist attenuates...

Abstract Background Ensitrelvir is a novel SARS-CoV-2 3-chymotrypsin-like protease inhibitor, similar to nirmatrelvir/ritonavir. Several case reports have demonstrated the efficacy of inhibitors in treating prolonged coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) immunocompromised patients. Tacrolimus (TAC) widely used immunosuppressive agent whose blood level can increase significantly due inhibition cytochrome P450 3A (CYP3A) and P-glycoprotein by Since ensitrelvir also inhibits CYP3A P-gp,...

Statins are widely used to treat hyperlipidaemia. Their immunosuppressive effect has recently been confirmed in various immune mediated disease models. However, relatively few studies have conducted on allergic inflammation, so the precise mechanisms of their actions against allergies not fully clarified. On other hand, role interleukin (IL)17 responses highlighted, but whether statins affect IL17 production well studied. The pravastatin airway inflammation a mouse model was examined...
