Pre-eclampsia (PE) is one of the malignant metabolic diseases that complicate pregnancy. Gut dysbiosis has been identified for causing diseases, but role gut microbiome in pathogenesis PE remains unknown. We performed a case-control study to compare faecal and normotensive pregnant women by 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequencing. To address causative relationship between PE, we used microbiota transplantation (FMT) an antibiotic-treated mouse model. Finally, determined translocation immune...

Cancer-secreted exosomal miRNAs are emerging mediators of cancer-stromal cross-talk in the tumor environment. Our previous array cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) clinical specimens identified upregulation miR-221-3p. Here, we show that miR-221-3p is closely correlated with peritumoral lymphangiogenesis and lymph node (LN) metastasis CSCC. More importantly, characteristically enriched transferred by CSCC-secreted exosomes into human lymphatic endothelial cells (HLECs) to promote HLECs...

The accumulation of tumour-associated macrophages (TAMs) in the hypoxic tumour microenvironment (TME) is associated with malignant progression cancer. However, mechanisms by which TME facilitates TAM infiltration are not fully understood. This study showed that high ZEB1 expression cervical cancer cell islets was positively correlated CD163

Background: Patients with preeclampsia display a spectrum of onset time and severity clinical presentation, yet the underlying molecular bases for early-onset late-onset subtypes are not known. Although several transcriptome studies have been done on placentae from PE patients, only small number differentially expressed genes identified due to very sample sizes no distinguishing subtypes. Methods: We carried out RNA-seq 65 high-quality placenta samples, including 33 30 patients 32 control...

Fetuses diagnosed with fetal growth restriction (FGR) are at an elevated risk of stillbirth and adulthood morbidity. Gut dysbiosis has emerged as one the impacts placental insufficiency, which is main cause FGR. This study aimed to characterize relationships among intestinal microbiome, metabolites, Characterization was conducted on gut fecal metabolome, human phenotypes in a cohort 35 patients FGR normal pregnancies (NP). The serum metabolome analyzed 19 31 pregnant women. Multidimensional...

Molecular basis of ovarian folliculogenesis and etiopathogenesis premature failure (POF), a common cause infertility in women, are not fully understood. Mechanistic target rapamycin complex 2 (mTORC2) is emerging as central regulator cell metabolism, proliferation, survival. However, its role POF has been reported. Here, we showed that the signaling activity mTORC2 inhibited 4-vinylcyclohexene diepoxide (VCD)-induced mouse model. Notably, mice with oocyte-specific ablation Rictor, key...

Many human diseases share a developmental origin that manifests during childhood or maturity. Aneuploid syndromes are caused by supernumerary reduced number of chromosomes and represent an extreme example disease, as they have devastating consequences before after birth. Investigating how alterations in gene dosage drive these conditions is relevant because it might help treat some clinical aspects. It may also provide explanations to quantitative differences expression determine phenotypic...

Abstract Objective To develop an accurate non‐invasive prenatal test using next generation sequencing (NGS) for HbE and the four most common β‐thalassaemia mutations found in South East Asia (namely −28A > G, CD17A T, CD41/42(−TTCT) IVS‐II‐654C T). Methods Cell‐free DNA was extracted from maternal plasma 83 families where both parents were carriers of mutation or one mutations. Accumulating evidence suggests that the pathogenesis of preeclampsia involves poor placentation caused by insufficient trophoblast invasion and impaired uterine spiral artery remodeling, yet underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. We carried out transcriptome profiling on placentae from preeclamptic patients normal subjects, identified about four hundred long non-coding RNAs differentially expressed in with early-onset severe preeclampsia. Here, we report our identification lncRNA...
