Heteroarenes are important structural moieties in many chemical industry fields. A highly efficient Pd/Cu-catalyzed C−H arylation method for a range of heterocycles has been discovered. It was found that the key to success this transformation is combination palladium catalyst and well-defined copper cocatalyst. The efficiency low loadings (0.25 mol %) cocatalyst (1 together with mild reaction conditions demonstrate be practically useful mechanistically interesting.
Nucleophilic N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) have been used as ancillary ligands in palladium-mediated Suzuki−Miyaura cross-coupling reactions involving aryl chlorides or triflates with arylboronic acids. The scope of the coupling process using Pd(0) Pd(II) sources and an imidazolium salt presence a base, Cs2CO3, was tested various substrates. Pd(OAc)2 Pd2(dba)3/IMes·HCl (2, IMes = 1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene) system presents very high activity respect to electron-neutral...
Nucleophilic N-heterocyclic carbenes have been conveniently used as catalyst modifiers in amination reactions involving aryl chlorides, bromides, and iodides with various nitrogen-containing substrates. The scope of a coupling process using Pd(0) or Pd(II) source an imidazolium salt the presence base, KO(t)Bu NaOH, was tested Pd(2)(dba)(3)/IPr.HCl (1, IPr = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene) system presents highest activity respect to electron-neutral electron-rich chlorides....
A combination of palladium and an imidazolium chloride has been used as catalyst precursor in the amination aryl chlorides. The salt IPrHCl (4, IPr = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene) was found to provide most efficient transformation rates this catalytic system. This new system proves general for chlorides well bromides iodides.
The exchange reaction of one phosphine ligand in Cl2(PCy3)2RuCHPh (1; Cy = cyclohexyl, C6H11) with the sterically demanding carbene ligands 1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IMes), 1,3-bis(4-methylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (ITol), and 1,3-bis(4-chlorophenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IpCl) leads to isolation new complexes (PCy3)(IMes)Cl2RuCHPh (2), (PCy3)(ITol)Cl2RuCHPh (3), (PCy3)(IpCl)Cl2RuCHPh (4). Similarly, IMes can be substituted for PCyp3 Cl2(PCyp3)2RuCHCHC(CH3)2 (5; Cyp...
A simple and efficient synthesis of 11H-pyrido[2,1-b]quinazolin-11-ones by Cu(OAc)2·H2O-catalyzed reaction easily available substituted isatins 2-bromopyridine derivatives has been developed. The involves C–N/C–C bond cleavage two C–N formations in a one-pot operation. This methodology is complementary to previously reported synthetic procedures, plausible mechanisms are discussed.
This work initially reports the use of a quite familiar optical phenomenon colloidal solutions, namely, Tyndall Effect (TE) as signal readout for highly sensitive colorimetric chemical and biological analysis. Taking gold nanoparticles (GNPs) model colloid, TE-inspired assay (TEA) is developed based on conversion specific recognition event (e.g., aptamer–analyte binding) into aggregation GNPs, leading to significant TE enhancement. In TEA, cheap laser pointer pen used hand-held light source,...
Controllable self-assembly of the DNA-linked gold nanoparticle (AuNP) architecture for in vivo biomedical applications remains a key challenge. Here, we describe use programmed DNA tetrahedral structure to control assembly three different types AuNPs (∼20, 10, and 5 nm) by organizing them into defined positioning arrangement. A DNA-assembled "core-satellite" is built sequencing where satellite (10 surround central core AuNP (20 nm). The density arrangement satellites around were controlled...
The second near-infrared (NIR-II) window laser-activated agents have attracted broad interest in an orthotopic cancer theranostic. However, developing NIR-II photothermal (PTAs) with advanced conversion efficiency (PTCE) and tumor-specific response elevation remains a crucial challenge. Herein, hollow gold nanorod (AuHNR) strong localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) peak the was coated MnO2 chitosan to obtain AuHNR@MnO2@CS (termed AuMC) by one-step method. Upon exposure tumor...
A mild, one-pot synthesis of 4-quinolones is described. Under the optimal conditions, a variety 2-substituted were synthesized via sequential palladium-catalyzed amidation 2'-bromoacetophenones followed by base-promoted intramolecular cyclization.
A mild, general, catalytic system for the alpha-vinylation of carbonyl compounds has been developed. By employing [Pd(P(t)Bu(3))Br](2) as catalyst and LHMDS base, vinyl bromides, triflates, tosylates couple with 3-methyloxindole in satisfactory yields. The same is extended to ketones esters.
This work describes a new nanosensor for one-step ultrasensitive naked-eye detection of Hg2+ ions based on the target-triggered aggregation gold nanoparticles showing dramatically enhanced Tyndall effect.
Sulfonimidamides, featuring a hexavalent sulfur structure, are class of key compounds with broad application prospects in the fields pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. However, their applications have been limited due to lack economically effective synthetic methods. Utilizing cost-effective readily accessible sulfonyl chloride as initial reagent, this method involves sequential formation intermediates, including sulfinamide sulfonimidoyl chloride, culminating synthesis sulfonylimidamide...
