Abstract Magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) with a diameter of 8 nm were modified different generations polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers and mixed antisense survivin oligodeoxynucleotide (asODN). The MNP then formed asODN-dendrimer-MNP composites, which we incubated human tumor cell lines such as breast cancer MCF-7, MDA-MB-435, liver HepG2 analyzed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide, quantitative reverse transcription-PCR, Western blotting, laser confocal microscopy,...

In this study, rapeseed protein isolate was hydrolyzed with various proteases to obtain hydrolysates that were separated by membrane ultrafiltration into four molecular size fractions (<1, 1–3, 3–5, and 5–10 kDa). Alcalase hydrolysis significantly (p < 0.05) produced the highest yield of hydrolysate while Flavourzyme least. The <1 kDa fraction most abundant after hydrolysates, which indicates efficient at reducing native proteins low weight peptides. Antioxidant properties resulting...

Abstract A novel OA/ionic liquid two‐phase system combining the merits of thermal decomposition method, IL‐based strategy, and approach is introduced to synthesize high‐quality lanthanide‐doped NaGdF 4 upconversion nanocrystals with different crystal‐phases in OA‐phase IL‐phase through a one‐step controllable reaction. Oil‐dispersible cubic‐phase :Yb, Er (Ho, Tm) ultra‐small size (∼5 nm) monodispersity are obtained OA phase via an More importantly, water‐soluble hexagonal‐phase same simply...

The effects of pH and protein concentration on some structural functional properties hemp seed isolate (HPI, 84.15% content) defatted meal (HPM, 44.32% were determined. HPI had minimum solubility (PS) at 4.0, which increased as was decreased or increased. In contrast, the HPM PS 3.0, higher values. Gel electrophoresis showed that high molecular weight proteins (>45 kDa) present in not well extracted by alkali absent low ratio polypeptide profile. amino acid composition isolation process...

To realize the high-value utilization of Rushan cheese by-product, whey was used as a raw material to prepare angiotensin-Ⅰ-converting enzyme inhibitory peptides (ACEIPs). After enzymatic hydrolysisn and ultrafiltration, sequences were identified by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Two novel ACE Phe-Asp-Arg-Pro-Phe-Leu (FDRPFL) Lys-Trp-Glu-Lys-Pro-Phe (KWEKPF) identified. Additionally, both exhibited good water-solubility no toxicity according in-silico...

Polychrome silver nanoparticles have been prepared by a soft solution approach under microwave irradiation from of nitrate (AgNO3) in the presence poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) without any other reducing agent. Different morphologies colloids with charming colors could be obtained using different solvents as reaction medium. The structures were determined X-ray powder diffraction. UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to follow process and characterize optical properties resultant colloids. influence...

A unique, sensitive, and highly specific fluoroimmunoassay system for antigen detection using gold magnetic nanoparticles has been developed. The assay is based on the fluorescence quenching of fluorescein isothiocyanate caused by coated with monoclonal antibody. To demonstrate its analytical capabilities, were anti-alpha-fetoprotein polyclonal antibodies, which specifically bound alpha-fetoprotein. Gold antibodies could sandwich alpha-fetoprotein captured nanoparticle probes. sandwich-type...

Studies on antioxidant peptides extracted from foodstuff sources have included not only experiments to elucidate their chemical characteristics but also investigate bioavailability and intracellular mechanisms. This study was designed clarify the absorption antioxidative activity of YWDHNNPQIR (named RAP), which is derived rapeseed protein using a Caco-2 cell transwell model. Results showed that 0.8% RAP (C0 = 0.2 mM, t 90 min) could maintain original structure across monolayers via...
