This article's main contributions are twofold: 1) to demonstrate how apply the general European Union's High-Level Expert Group's (EU HLEG) guidelines for trustworthy AI in practice domain of healthcare and 2) investigate research question what does "trustworthy AI" mean at time COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, we present results a post-hoc self-assessment evaluate trustworthiness an system predicting multiregional score conveying degree lung compromise patients, developed verified by...
We evaluated tumor response at Computed Tomography (CT) according to three radiologic criteria: RECIST 1.1, CHOI and volume in 34 patients with metastatic adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) submitted standard chemotherapy. These criteria agreed defining partial response, stable or progressive disease 24 (70.5%). Partial (PR) was observed 29.4%, 29.4% 41.2% of volume, respectively. It associated a favorable prognosis, regardless the criterion adopted. The concordance all 3 identified 8 (23.5%)...
To evaluate the performance of a clinical-radiological index (RAPID-Covid score) in achieving Safe Discharge (SD) patients accessing Emergency Department (ED) with symptoms suggesting Covid-19. Clinical and radiological data were retrospectively collected from 853 consecutive admitted to ED during pandemics Illness severity was graded RAPID-Covid score, composed chest X-ray findings, clinical PaO2/FiO2. Patients RAPIDCovid score ≥5 admitted. Primary outcome SD home care. defined as survival...
Background: The standard treatment for locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (LA-NSCLC) is represented by concomitant chemo-radiotherapy followed consolidation with durvalumab that ensures a 5-year survival of 46%. However, the risk radiotherapy-induced pneumonia (RIP) almost 10–15%. Complete cardiological examination also usually performed during cardiopulmonary pre-treatment evaluation and pulmonary function testing one most used tool to predict RIP development. Aim: aim this study...
