We present the first three-dimensional map of antennal lobe Drosophila melanogaster, based on confocal microscopic analysis glomeruli stained with neuropil-specific monoclonal antibody nc82. The stacks allowed us to identify according criteria shape, size, position, and intensity labeling. Forty were labeled by nc82, eight which have not been described before. Three previously shown exclusively backfills discernible in nc82 stainings. distinguish three classes glomeruli: (1) "landmark" that...

Recent experimental and clinical data point to the T helper lymphocyte subset as playing a central role in pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Thus, therapeutic strategy aimed specifically at CD4 cell is warranted. We treated patients with active RA for 7 days daily dose 20 mg monoclonal antibody M-T151, administered intravenously over 30 minutes. There were no negative side effects. According changes combined parameters Ritchie articular index, pain assessment, grip strength, morning...

Abstract Objective. To investigate the effects of chimeric CD4 monoclonal antibody cM‐T412 treatment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods. Thirty‐two RA received daily doses 10, 50, or 100 mg intravenously for 7 days. Results. There was a sustained decrease number CD4+ T lymphocytes all patients. Those who 50 and experienced significant reductions disease activity. Conclusion. Treatment appears to have dose‐dependent beneficial effect The clinical are independent depressed...

We have conducted the first study to determine diagnostic potential of CD14++CD16+ intermediate monocytes as compared pro-angiogenic subset CD14++CD16+TIE2+ TIE2-expressing (TEMs) in cancer. These monocyte populations were investigated by flow cytometry healthy volunteers (N = 32) and colorectal carcinoma patients with localized 24) or metastatic 37) disease. further determined blood levels cytokines associated regulation. The results revealed be significantly elevated cancer show highest...

Two years since the outbreak of novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome 2) pandemic, there remain few clinically effective drugs to complement vaccines. One is anticoagulant, heparin, which in 2004 was found able inhibit invasion SARS-CoV (CoV-1) and has been employed during current pandemic prevent thromboembolic complications moderate potentially damaging inflammation. Heparin also shown experimentally attachment infection susceptible cells. At high therapeutic...

As in vivo real-life data are still scarce, we conducted a study to assess the safety and feasibility of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) patients with leadless pacemaker system. In this prospective non-randomized interventional trial, enrolled 15 an MRI conditional Micra® system undergo either 1.5 T or 3.0 scan. Clinical adverse events as well device parameters such pacing threshold, sensing, impedance, battery life were assessed at baseline 1 3 months after Device parameter changes...

Soluble ST2 (sST2) has been introduced as a novel biomarker in patients suffering from heart failure for risk stratification. In this study, we sought to investigate whether sST2 is useful stratification and prediction of mortality undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).A total 274 TAVI were included study (149 female; age 81 ± 1 years; EUROSCORE 25 1; STS score 3·8 0·2). Plasma samples obtained preinterventional analysed sST2. Patients followed up month year after TAVI.In...
