The clinical features, treatment, and prognosis of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) are not well-defined.We aimed to investigate the characteristics, therapy, ABPA aid its recognition.A total 232 patients with were analyzed retrospectively. characteristics in terms misdiagnosis, computed tomography classification, relationship asthma analyzed, risk factors for acute exacerbation based on follow-up data.Of patients, 132 had a history misdiagnosis. Compared misdiagnosed central...

Abstract Background Ticks are notorious blood-feeding arthropods that can spread a variety of deadly diseases. The salivary gland is an important organ for ticks to feed on blood, and this begins develop rapidly when ixodid suck blood. When these reach critical weight, the glands stop developing begin degenerate. expression levels large number proteins during development degeneration change, which regulate biological functions glands. Furthermore, best our knowledge, there only few reports...

Babesia is a protozoan parasite that infects red blood cells in some vertebrates. Some species of can induce zoonoses and cause considerable harm. As the largest immune organ mammals, spleen plays an important role defending against infection. When infected with Babesia, seriously injured but still actively initiates immunomodulatory responses. To explore molecular mechanisms underlying regulation self-repair response to infection, this study used data-independent acquisition (DIA)...

Xenopus laevis tolerate dehydration when their environments evaporate during summer months. Protein phosphorylation has previously shown to regulate important adaptations in X. laevis, including the transition anaerobic metabolism. We therefore performed phosphoproteomic analysis of further elucidate cellular and metabolic responses dehydration. Phosphoproteins were enriched functions pathways related glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, TCA cycle, protein metabolism, among others. The prominence...

Abstract We synthesized a new non-toxic biopolymer (GAP460) containing γ,L-glutamic acid and aspartate (Asp). Conjugates of GAP460 cisplatin exhibited drug-carrying capacity nearly 40%, 3-times higher than γ-PGA dramatically decreasing the amount required for high-dose delivery. Treatment with GAP460-cisplatin conjugate (PACC) not only effectively inhibited tumor growth in nude mice, but also resulted extended survival lower nephrotoxicity, suggesting that could be used as an effective...

The ticks feed large amount of blood from their hosts and transmit pathogens to the victims. salivary gland plays an important role in feeding. When female are near engorgement, gradually loses its functions begins rapidly degenerate. In this study, data-independent acquisition quantitative proteomics was used study changes phosphorylation modification proteins during degeneration <i>Haemaphysalis longicornis</i>. 400 phosphorylated 850 sites were identified. Trough RNA...

The aim of this study is to explore the detoxification and homoeostasis functions salivary glands, look for possible target proteins new drugs tick prevention treatment. Different concentrations chlorpyrifos deal with semi-engorged female Haemaphysalis longicornis, through DIA quantitative proteomics method quantitatively determine all in a variety depth bioinformatics methods protein analysis function mining, explain molecular mechanism glands. Quantitative information from 5 normal groups...

Complex mixtures of bioactive ingredients in plant essential oils present complex chemistries which involve different modes action. An increasing body scientific reports has recently focused on the acaricidal activities attributed to their monoterpene components, but information about underlying molecular mechanism action is scarce. Here, after chemical analysis lemongrass oil, a proteomic ovary, salivary gland, and midgut Haemaphysalis longicornis exposed Cymbopogon citratus (lemongrass)...
