Kaempferol (KMP) is an important flavonoid in many fruits and vegetables. Preclinical studies on KMP have reported its pharmacological effects, including antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antidiabetic, myocardial protective, neuroprotective effects. Additionally, some epidemiological revealed a negative association between the consumption of KMP-containing foods risk developing several disorders, such as cancer cardiovascular diseases. Thus, although large body...

Using a new method to measure the hardness of pericranial muscles, role muscle factors in tension-type headache was evaluated. In 223 normal healthy subjects, trapezius muscles 82±15 kPa/cm (mean±SD). The women, 92±17 kPa/cm, significantly greater than that men, 74±14 (P < 0.01). Trapezius were harder paraspinal posterior neck measured at level fifth cervical vertebra (71±13 kPa/cm; n = 26) but significant correlation did exist between these two groups (r 0.89, P 0.001). Muscle not show with...

Kaempferol (KMP) has numerous important biological functions, and we recently showed that it remarkably increased intracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) content in C2C12 myotubes under hypoxic conditions. Since ATP is generated by aerobic energy metabolism or anaerobic glycolysis, hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) been shown to be associated with metabolic remodeling causes shift from glycolysis response Here, investigate the effects of KMP conditions on stabilization HIF-1α its...

Accumulated evidence shows that some phytochemicals provide beneficial effects for human health. Recently, a number of mechanistic studies have revealed direct interactions between and functional proteins play significant roles in exhibiting their bioactivities. However, binding selectivities to biological molecules are considered be lower due small simple structures. In this study, we found zerumbone, bioactive sesquiterpene, binds numerous with little selectivity. Similar heat-denatured...

In 20 patients, a direct sample Uterobrush was obtained. Nineteen cases EA one case carcinosarcoma were studied. TPS SPS performed according to manufacturer's recommendations. Moreover, after preparation, residual material also prepare an (TP–SPS ThinPrep–Surepath sample). The following points...
