Recent studies have revealed that microRNAs (miRs) play important roles in the regulation of angiogenesis. In this study, we characterized miR-382 upregulation by hypoxia and functional relevance tumor miRs induced MKN1 human gastric cancer cells were investigated using miRNA microarrays. We selected found expression was regulated HIF-1α. Conditioned media (CM) from transfected with a inhibitor (antagomiR-382) under hypoxic conditions significantly decreased vascular endothelial cell (EC)...

Epidemiological and experimental evidence support health risks associated with the exposure to airborne particulate matter a diameter of <10 μ M (PM10). PM10 stimulates production reactive oxygen species (ROS) inflammatory mediators. Thus, we assumed that natural antioxidants might provide benefits attenuating hazardous effects PM10. In present study, examined pomegranate peel extract (PPE) on THP‐1 monocytic cells exposed induced cytotoxicity ROS. It also increased expression secretion...

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation-induced loss of dermal extracellular matrix is associated with skin photoaging. Recent studies demonstrated that keratinocyte-releasable stratifin (SFN) plays a critical role in collagen metabolism by inducing metalloproteinase 1 (MMP1) expression target fibroblasts. In the present study, we examined whether SFN released from UVB-irradiated epidermal keratinocytes increases MMP1 release fibroblasts, and these events are affected p-coumaric acid (p-CA), natural...
