Eleven compounds were isolated from the rhizomes of Paris polyphylla Smith var. yunnanensis. Their structures elucidated on basis rigorous 1D and 2D NMR experiments as well comparison with literature data. To best our knowledge, compound 1 was only predicted by UPLC/Q-TOF MSE spectroscopic data given for first time. The cytotoxic activities all mouse B16 cells evaluated. Among tested molecules, 6-9 showed strong cytotoxicities, while did not show significant effect.

Dioscorea oppositifolia (Chinese yam) (DO) and hamiltonii (DH) are the plants of genus they used as health food traditional Chinese medicine. In order to development available DO DH source, a comparative study principal components activities were carried on. was qualitatively quantitively profiled, we comparatively evaluated their antioxidant (reducing power assay), anti-inflammatory (xylene-induced ear oedema test) nonspecific immune regulating (carbon clearance activities. The 42 38...

The investigation of the constituents rhizomes Dioscorea collettii afforded one new dihydroisocoumarin, named (−)-montroumarin (1a), along with five known compounds—montroumarin (1b), 1,1′-oxybis(2,4-di-tert-butylbenzene) (2), (3R)-3′-O-methylviolanone (3a), (3S)-3′-O-methylviolanone (3b), and (RS)-sativanone (4). Their structures were elucidated using extensive spectroscopic methods. To best our knowledge, compound 1a is a enantiomer 1b. NMR data 2 had been reported but its structure was...

The aims of this study were to investigate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects extracts from fruits Ziziphus jujuba Mill. cv. jinsixiaozao Hort (ZJMH) its active chemical constituents. For activity, reducing power, DPPH β-carotene bleaching inhibition assay used. Ethyl acetate extract exhibited strongest potential in all models. petroleum ether showed (32.86%) against carrageenan-induced paw edema, which also displayed potent activity xylene-induced ear edema (41.52%). contents...
