Abstract Tumor angiogenesis plays an essential role in carcinogenesis, cancer progression, and metastasis. Some studies indicate that lipoxins, endogenous anti-inflammatory lipid mediators, might be involved tumor angiogenesis; however, the governing mechanisms are still unknown. In present study, we examined effects of exogenous lipoxin A4 (LXA4) mouse hepatocarcinoma cell line (H22) H22-bearing mice model. It was found H22 cells, LXA4 inhibited production vascular endothelial growth factor...

Abstract Hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF-1α) is closely related to chemoresistance of ovarian cancers. Although it reported that HIF-1α can be regulated by Sentrin/SUMO-specific protease (SENP1), the effects SENP1 on still controversial. In this study, we identified positively expression deSUMOylation and weakened sensitivity hypoxic cancer cells cisplatin. These results indicate a positive regulator plays negative role in chemotherapy.

Increased cholinergic activity has been highlighted in the pathogenesis of airway hyperresponsiveness, and alternations mitochondrial structure function appear to be involved many lung diseases including hyperresponsiveness. It is crucial clarify cause-effect association between dysfunction hyperactivity hyperresponsiveness.Male SD rats cultured epithelial cells were exposed cigarette smoke plus lipopolysaccharide administration; mitochondria isolated from epithelium delivered into vitro...

Very recent studies hold promise to reveal the role of stromal interaction molecule 1 (STIM1) in non-store-operated Ca2+ entry. Here we showed that contrast cytoplasmic membrane redistribution as previously noted, human umbilical vein endothelial STIM1 with a T-to-C nucleotide transition resulting an amino acid substitution leucine by proline signal peptide sequence translocated perinuclear upon intracellular depletion, amplified nucleoplasmic signaling through ryanodine receptor-dependent...

Rectified linear units (ReLUs) are currently the most popular activation function used in neural networks. Although ReLUs can solve gradient vanishing problem and accelerate training convergence, it suffers from dying ReLU which some neurons never activated if weights not updated properly. In this work, we propose a novel function, known as adaptive convolutional (ConvReLU), that better mimic brain neuron behaviors overcome problem. With our parameter sharing scheme, ConvReLUs be applied to...

Abstract Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a life-threatening vascular disease without effective medications. This study integrated genetic, proteomic, and metabolomic data to identify causation between increased triglyceride (TG)-rich lipoproteins AAA risk. Three hypertriglyceridemia mouse models were employed test the hypothesis that plasma TG concentrations accelerate development rupture. In angiotensin II-infusion model, most Lpl -deficient mice with severely high died of Consistently,...

Calibration is crucial to the accuracy of grating measurement, which directly determines measurement. The traditional calibration principle easily influenced by some factors in projection measurement for lack flexibility. This paper presents a new method using and improving Zhang’s Method, high efficiency are achieved with low cost.

In real-world traffic, there are various uncertainties and complexities in road weather conditions. To solve the problem that feature information of pole-like obstacles complex environments is easily lost, resulting low detection accuracy real-time performance, a multi-scale hybrid attention mechanism algorithm proposed this paper. First, optimal transport function Monge-Kantorovich (MK) incorporated not only to overlapping multiple prediction frames with matching but also MK can be...
