固相抽出法は,高速液体クロマトグラフィー(HPLC),ガスクロマトグラフィー(GC)などの有機化合物の機器分析における前処理法として,試料マトリックスからの目的化合物の分離濃縮法として利用されてきた.近年,金属イオンに選択性のある分離剤を利用した固相抽出法により,無機分析においても高感度化,金属の形態別分離分析が広く検討されるようになった.無機分離剤には,イオン交換樹脂,キレート樹脂が広く固相抽出法の分離剤として利用されている.近年では,クラウンエーテルに代表される大環状官能基を導入した高選択性樹脂の事例が報告されるようになり,誘導結合プラズマ(ICP)発光分析における分光干渉の緩和などに応用されている.本論文では,近年応用事例の報告が著しい,無機分析のための固相抽出法について,分離剤の種類と特長を基礎事項として体系立てて論ずる.また,近年の報告事例を引用しながら,環境水中の微量元素群を濃縮しICP発光分析や原子吸光光度法により検出する手法,高マトリックスの産業試料中から目的元素を選択的に分離検出する手法,土壌中の微量元素を分離分析する手法について論ずる.

6価クロム{Cr(VI)}は,高周波誘導結合プラズマ発光分析法(ICP-AES)において直接分別定量することが困難であり,JIS K 0102,JIS H 8625,EPA3060Aなどの各種試験法においてジフェニルカルバジドによる発色後の吸光光度法が指定されている.ICP-AESを採用するには事前に6価クロムのみ分離してから導入する必要があり,従来陰イオン交換固相抽出が検討されてきたが,酸性条件や塩濃度が高い条件下での分離操作が煩雑であった.一方,ジフェニルカルバジド法における検出では,実試料が有機物や油分の影響により着色・白濁していることが想定され,正確な測定が困難になる場合がある.本研究では陰イオン交換樹脂と比較して6価クロムへの選択性が高い分子認識能のある高選択性樹脂を固相抽出カートリッジとして作製し,複数元素群からの選択分離の検証,最適抽出条件を検討した.本研究で確立した手法を実試料に適用したところ,白濁着色した工業廃液において89.2~96.2%,着色した土壌抽出液において88.5% の良好な回収率が得られた.
