Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is a common indication for transplantation worldwide. This study identifies factors predicting posttransplant recidivism.Clinical and laboratory data were reviewed. Uni- multivariate analyses survival relapse to alcohol illicit drugs performed.Between July 1995 November 2007, 387 patients underwent at our institution. Of these, 147 (38%) found have ALD. Five (3.4%) excluded because of perioperative mortality. Overall was 96.2%, 89.6%, 84.4% 1, 3, 5 years,...

Abstract Immune memory plays a critical role in the development of durable antimicrobial immune responses. How precisely mRNA vaccines train innate cells to shape protective host defense mechanisms remains unknown. Here we show that SARS-CoV-2 vaccination significantly establishes histone H3 lysine 27 acetylation (H3K27ac) at promoters human monocyte-derived macrophages, suggesting epigenetic memory. However, found two consecutive vaccinations were required for persistence H3K27ac, which...

Introduction Early treatment of acute hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection with interferon alfa monotherapy is highly effective but associated frequent unfavorable side effects. There no fully published study yet exploring the safety, efficacy and required duration interferon-free monoinfection. Preliminary reports suggested that ledipasvir/sofosbuvir therapy in relapses were reported HIV-coinfected patients after 6 weeks treatment. Aims & Methods The German HepNet Acute HCV IV Study was...
