Abstract Molybdenum sulfide has great potential for the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution, but its structural instability in acidic media and high barriers alkaline/neutral limits practical applications. Herein, design of monodispersed sandwich‐structured MoO 2 /MoS /C hollow nanoreactors is reported with a triple layer “conductor/catalyst/protector” configuration efficient electrochemical evolution over all pH values. Metallic substrates ultrahigh pristine electroconductivity can promote...

We report the storage capacities and separation selectivity of an rht-type s-heptazine-based metal organic framework (MOF), [Cu3(TDPAH)(H2O)3]·13H2O·8DMA, 1, (where TDPAH is 2,5,8-tris(3,5-dicarboxylphenylamino)-s-heptazine DMA N,N-dimethylacetamide) for C2 hydrocarbons CO2 over CH4. MOF 1 displays highest C2H2/CH4 80.9 as well record high C2H4 C2H6 adsorption enthalpies. Theoretical calculations reveal that s-heptazine NH groups within have synergistic effects on binding.

Highly efficient triplet photosensitizers (PSs) have attracted increasing attention in cancer photodynamic therapy where photo-induced reactive oxygen species (ROSs, such as singlet oxygen) are produced via singlet-triplet intersystem crossing (ISC) of the excited photosensitizer to kill cells. However, most PSs exhibit fatal defect a generally less-than-1% efficiency ISC and low yield ROSs, this strongly impedes their clinical application. In current work, new strategy enhance high...
