Wide peritoneal metastasis is the cause of highest lethality ovarian cancer in gynecologic malignancies. Ascites play a key role metastasis, but involved mechanism uncertain. Here, we performed quantitative proteomics ascites, and found that collagen type I alpha 1 (COL1A1) was notably elevated ascites from epithelial patients compared to normal fluids, verified COL1A1 mainly originated fibroblasts. promoted migration invasion cells, such effects were partially eliminated by antibodies....
Abstract Objective To investigate the detailed roles and mechanisms of tumor-derived exosomes in progression metastasis ovarian cancer vitro. Methods Exosomes were isolated by differential centrifugation method; morphology, size biological markers separately defined transmission electron microscopy, nanoS90 Western blotting; Trans-well chambers assay was used to assess ability migration invasion recipient cells uptaking from HO8910PM cells. The downstream molecule screened mass...
Abstract Introduction Exosomal microRNA (miRNA) as a mediator of intercellular communication plays an essential part in tumor‐relevant angiogenesis. Therapy against angiogenesis has been demonstrated to have remarkable antitumor efficacy various malignancies, but not expected ovarian cancer. Methods Exosomes were isolated by ultracentrifugation. miRNA sequencing and gene function experiments used identify the differential expressed miRNAs exosomes their mRNA targets. SKOV3 cell line that...
Metastasis is the key cause of death in ovarian cancer patients. To figure out biological nature metastasis essential for developing effective targeted therapy. Here we investigate how long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) SPOCD1-AS from extracellular vesicles (EVs) remodel mesothelial cells through a mesothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (MMT) manner and facilitate peritoneal metastasis.EVs purified ascites patients were applied to cells. The MMT process was assessed by morphology observation,...
Key Points MEKK3 regulates platelet activation through ERK1/2 and JNK2. −/− mice are protected from microthrombosis myocardial infarct expansion post-MI.
Melanoma is a life-threatening cancer with limited treatments. Retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I) cytosolic pattern recognition receptor (PRR) crucial to RNA virus sensing, interferon production, and tumor suppression. Quercetin, natural flavonoid, has particularly therapeutic interests prevent treat cancer, for its pharmacological effects against oxidant, inflammation, angiogenesis. Quercetin was investigated anti-melanoma activity potential mechanisms in this study. We found that...
Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica (NMO) are immune-mediated inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system. In acute phase these diseases, secondary ischemia due to inflammation-induced endothelial dysfunction may be an important pathological change. Pentraxin 3 (PTX3) is a pro-inflammatory protein novel biomarker vascular diseases. Objective: We aimed determine whether PTX3 levels elevated in MS NMO patients. Methods: The concentrations plasma were measured...
The concept that the immune system plays a central role in pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica (NMO) was indisputable. However, neurodegenerative pathological features including loss axons neurons were also found lesions these diseases. α-Synuclein is one most abundant proteins pre-synaptic terminals. Recently, many research show α-synuclein level CSF may reflect progression synaptic dysfunction neuronal apoptosis. Whether levels are changed MS NMO patients...
Abstract Mutations of vacuolar protein sorting‐associated 33b (VPS33B) cause arthrogryposis, renal dysfunction, and cholestasis syndrome, a lack platelet α‐granules in the affected patients. Conditional Vps33b knockout mice were developed to investigate function(s) α‐granule formation. We found that early embryonic deletion was lethal. PF4‐Cre‐driven megakaryocyte‐targeted gene greatly diminished expression platelets, but had no effect on formation content. Tamoxifen‐induced, haematopoietic...
Nonsubstrate allosteric inhibitors of P-glycoprotein (Pgp), which are considered promising modulators for overcoming multidrug resistance (MDR), relatively unknown. Herein, we designed and synthesized amino acids bearing amide derivatives pyxinol, the main ginsenoside metabolite produced by human liver, examined their MDR reversal abilities. A potential nonsubstrate inhibitor (7a) was identified to undergo high-affinity binding putative site Pgp at nucleotide-binding domains. Subsequent...
Frequent resistance to paclitaxel and carboplatin based chemotherapy remains a therapeutic challenge in ovarian cancer. UTP23, small sub-unit processome component, is down-regulated paclitaxel-resistant cell line SKOV3-TR30 compared with its parental SKOV3 cells on our previous study. However, the specific mechanism of UTP23 regulating cancer largely unknown.Immunohistochemical (IHC) staining was used measure expression 133 tissues. Then we short hairpin RNA (shRNA), over-expression plasmid...
Objective: As cancer stem cells (CSCs) are considered as the origin of tumor development, recurrence, and drug resistance, we aimed to explore mechanism related modulating stemness in CSCs, thus facilitating search for new therapeutic strategy ovarian cancer. Methods: In this study, (OCSCs) induced from cell line 3AO A2780 were enriched serum-free medium (SFM).The effect SURF4 on CSC-like properties was evaluated by sphere-forming assays, re-differentiation quantitative real-time polymerase...

Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is difficult to diagnose because it requires histopathology and tissue culture, as well due its rapid progression. the primary cause of mycosis in China, which can occur patients with neutrophil deficiency, leukaemia or lymphoma, malignant tumours, chronic obstructive disease long-term corticosteroid use bacterial exacerbations. Such fungal infections lead disseminated death within weeks, mortality rate for untreated invasive high. Therefore, increased...
This paper explores the significant impact of e-commerce and investigates manufacturers’ decision-making processes regarding opening e-shops adoption online offline coordination strategies to enhance profits in an environment. A novel three-channel model with asymmetric retailers is proposed, three scenarios are analyzed: initial dual-channel scenario, multi-channel scenario e-platform, “Order online, Pickup offline” coordinated scenario. By comparing optimal across these scenarios,...
