A label-free biological sensor, which is based on the resonant transmission phenomenon of a thin metallic mesh, proposed in terahertz wave region. By using this we demonstrate highly sensitive detection small amounts protein horseradish peroxidase. For quantitative investigation sensitivity our peroxidase was printed mesh surface by commercial available printer. distinct shift dip frequency observed for 500pg∕mm2 (11fmol) indicating significantly high sensor.

This paper reports solutions to the issues of profile control, microloading effect and suppression sidewall roughness submicrometer trenches by modifying regular conditions Bosch process that is often employed in inductively coupled plasma (ICP) deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) system. Additionally, under modified processing conditions, a high efficient antireflection structure can be fabricated.

Background Effects of sodium‐glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors on reducing hospitalization for heart failure have been reported in randomized controlled trials, but their effects patients with preserved ejection fraction ( HF p EF ) are unknown. This study aimed to evaluate the drug efficacy luseogliflozin, a inhibitor, type diabetes mellitus and . Methods Results We performed multicenter, open‐label, randomized, trial comparing luseogliflozin 2.5 mg once daily voglibose 0.2 3 times...

We herein report a case of Systemic Capillary Leak Syndrome (SCLS) attributed to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that emerged in 2019. A 56-year-old woman presented with COVID-19 infection 7 days prior the visit upper respiratory symptoms, fatigue, and decreased appetite. Secondary SCLS due was diagnosed, veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) initiated as mechanical support, intravenous immunoglobulin administered, marking transition recovery phase initiation fluid...

A new image-enhanced endoscopy method called texture and colour enhancement imaging (TXI) enhances brightness, surface irregularities, subtle changes in endoscopic images. However, it is unclear whether TXI narrow-band (NBI) with third-generation high-vision transnasal ultrathin are advantageous over white-light (WLI) for detecting atrophy, intestinal metaplasia, map-like redness gastric cancer. We investigated to compare the efficacy evaluation of gastritis between NBI clarified compared...

Epitaxial graphene (EG) on SiC is promising owing to a capability produce high-quality film wafer scale. One of the remaining issues microscopic thickness variation EG near surface steps, which induces variations in its electronic properties and device characteristics. We demonstrate here that layer are minimized by using microfabricated substrates spatially confines epitaxy. This technique will contribute realization highly reliable devices.

Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), which is caused by wide various conditions, has become a major public health problem. Transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), thought to be an underdiagnosed disease, can cause HFpEF. Non-invasive diagnosis using 99mTechnetium (Tc)-pyrophosphate (PYP) scintigraphy enables accurate of ATTR-CM. The aim this study was clarify the prevalence and characteristics ATTR-CM among Japanese patients This multicentre, prospective,...

This paper presents a capacitive silicon resonator with movable electrode structures to reduce the motional resistance for lower insertion loss and phase noise, also increase tuning frequency range compensation of temperature drift oscillator. The resonant fabricated device length 500 µm, width 440 µm thickness 5 is observed at 9.65 MHz, quality factor 49 000. Using an electrostatically drived structure, it shown that reduced by 200 times, output signal (insertion loss) increased 21 dB...
