Rothmund-Thomson syndrome (RTS) is an autosomal recessive disorder associated with increased predisposition to osteosarcoma. Children RTS typically present a characteristic skin rash (poikiloderma), small stature, and skeletal dysplasias. Mutations in the RECQL4 gene, which encodes RecQ DNA helicase, have been reported few patients. We examined whether developing osteosarcoma among international cohort of patients was distinctive pattern mutations gene.We obtained clinical information about...

Carbon dots (CDs) have garnered extensive interest in basic physical chemistry as well biomedical applications due to their low cost, good biocompatibility, and great aqueous solubility. However, the synthesis of multi-functional carbon has always been a challenge for researchers. Here, we synthesized novel CDs with high quantum yield 28.2% through straightforward hydrothermal method using Diaminomaleonitrile Boc-D-2, 3-diaminopropionic acid. The size, chemical functional group,...

We present results of few-layer graphene synthesis directly on SiO2/Si substrate by negative carbon ion implantation in Ni catalyst films the top substrate. Negative ions at 20 keV were implanted into with doses (4–16) × 1015 cm−2. The atoms dissolved an elevated temperature and diffused towards both sides film. After annealing, layers observed surface SiO2 beneath Formation insulating substrates was achieved etching layer.

Using $5.8 \times 10^7 J/\psi$ events collected in the BESII detector, radiative decay $J/\psi \to \gamma \phi K^+ K^- K^0_S K^0_L$ is studied. The $\phi\phi$ invariant mass distribution exhibits a near-threshold enhancement that peaks around 2.24 GeV/$c^{2}$. A partial wave analysis shows structure dominated by $0^{-+}$ state ($\eta(2225)$) with of $2.24^{+0.03}_{-0.02}{}^{+0.03}_{-0.02}$ GeV/$c^{2}$ and width $0.19 \pm 0.03^{+0.06}_{-0.04}$ product branching fraction is: $Br(J/\psi...

Abstract The extant literature has shown that “control privatisation” (CP) can improve corporate performance. There is little evidence, however, on how CP affects This paper investigates this issue from the perspective of tax planning. Using a difference-in-differences (DID) model with paired samples as control group, we examine whether aggressiveness changes after CP. results suggest CP, corporations exhibit increased compared sample.
