Pain is a common and complex non-motor symptom in people with Parkinson's disease (PWP). Little known about the genetic drivers of pain PWP, progress its study has been challenging. Here, we conducted two genome-wide association studies (GWAS) to identify variants associated experienced during earliest stages disease. The population consisted 4,159 PWP European ancestry who were mapped five previously-described, longitudinal trajectories. In first GWAS, extreme trajectories (highest burden...

Phosphorus (P) is an essential macronutrient for Brassica napus L. growth and development, mainly acquired from the soil as phosphate (Pi). However, there no research on system analysis of Pi utilization related genes (PURs) in B. yet. In this study, 285 PURs were identified genome, including 4 transcription factor (TF) gene families (83 genes) 17 structural (202 genes). Subcellular localization showed that proteins encoded by located nucleus (~ 46.0%) cell membrane 36.5%). Chromosome...

Abstract Background This study was aimed to evaluate the involvement of lncRNA MALAT1 in modifying chemo‐sensitivity laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) lines. Methods Totally 108 pairs tumor tissues and matched para‐tumor normal were gathered from patients who pathologically confirmed as LSCC. Meanwhile, LSCC lines, including TU686, TU177, AMC‐HN‐8, LSC‐1, purchased their tolerance cisplatin, 5‐fluorouracil, paclitaxel, vincristine. Additionally, CCK‐8 assay, flow cytometry, transwell...

Low-molecular-weight oyster peptides (LOPs) are typical bioactive with ameliorated immunomodulatory properties. However, the mechanism underlying its effect on immune functions and intestinal flora after chemotherapy has not been reported. In this study, Lewis lung cancer mice were used along cytotoxic to establish model investigate ameliorative effects of LOPs function structure. Our results showed that administration alleviated weight loss, reduced spleen tissue damage, increased splenic...

To study associations between type 2 diabetes (T2DM) candidate genes and microvascular complications of (MVCDs), we performed case-control association studies for both T2DM MVCDs in Han Chinese subjects. We recruited 1,939 unrelated patients 918 individuals with normal blood glucose levels as nondiabetic controls. Among patients, 1116 have MVCDs, 266 a history >10 years but never developed MVCDs. Eighty-two single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) 54 were genotyped. Discrete by the PLINK...

Abstract We have described two novel implantation serine proteinase ( ISP ) genes that are expressed during the period. The ISP1 gene may encode embryo‐derived enzyme strypsin, which is necessary for blastocyst hatching in vitro and initiation of invasion. ISP2 gene, encodes a related tryptase, endometrial glands regulated by progesterone peri‐implantation Based on similarities between expression progesterone‐regulated lumenal activity associated with lysis zona pellucida, we suggested...

Abstract During implantation, a balance of factors regulates the invasive properties embryo and anti‐invasive uterine decidua. Although antiproteinases such as metalloproteinase inhibitor TIMP‐3 are thought to play critical roles in preventing overaggressive invasion trophoblasts, mechanism antiproteinase regulation is unknown. Recently, prohormone convertase SPC‐6 has been found be co‐expressed embryo‐proximal decidua association with TIMP‐3. As members this serine proteinase family known...

Polygenic risk scores (PRS) based on genome-wide discoveries are promising predictors or classifiers of disease development, severity, and/or progression for common clinical outcomes. A major limitation most is the paucity in diverse populations, prompting an emphasis to generate these needed data trans-population and population-specific PRS construction. Given just now being completed, there has been little opportunity be evaluated populations independent from discovery efforts. To fill...
