Unlike Y123 which forms only a stoichiometric compound, the light rare earth elements (LREs: La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd) form solid solution . The presence of such caused depression in superconducting transition temperatures , particularly for La123, Nd123 and Sm123 when they are melt processed air. Recently, we have found that these LRE123 superconductors can greatly be enhanced reduced oxygen atmosphere. Furthermore, values were larger than good quality superconductor high magnetic fields at 77 K....

Abstract The identification of JAK2/MPL mutations in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) has led to the clinical development JAK kinase inhibitors, including ruxolitinib. Ruxolitinib reduces splenomegaly and systemic symptoms myelofibrosis improves overall survival; however, mechanism by which inhibitors achieve efficacy not been delineated. Patients MPN present increased levels circulating proinflammatory cytokines, are mitigated inhibitor therapy. We sought elucidate...

The authors report flux pinning behavior of melt processed YBaCuO containing Y2BaCuO5(211) inclusions. Although the size 211 inclusions is relatively large compared to coherence length, they can work as centers. present mechanism for due normal precipitates. While creep observed in thin films exhibiting high Jc values, rate very small having a magnitude lower which understandable by considering that potential precipitates much larger than centers and thereby motion less affected thermal activation.
