A new alkaloid, named 2-methoxy-4-(2-(2-pyridine)-ethyl) phenol (1), together with two known compounds, was isolated from Zingiberis rhizoma. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR spectra MS spectra.
