Importance Programmed cell death ligand 1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy has changed the approach to first-line treatment in patients extensive-stage small lung cancer (SCLC). It remained unknown whether adding a programmed (PD-1) inhibitor provided similar or better benefits SCLC, which would add evidence on efficacy of checkpoint SCLC. Objective To evaluate and adverse event profile PD-1 serplulimab plus compared placebo as Design, Setting, Participants This international,...

To summarize experiences and discuss the reasons for postlaparoscopic indirect inguinal hernia recurrence in children. From June 2008 to 2013, 6120 laparoscopic repairs were performed our hospital involving 5382 males 738 females. The average age was 3.1 years. When pneumoperitoneum established, lens a clamp placed into upper lower edges of umbilicus, respectively. Then on surface projection unclosed internal ring, sled-like needle with suture circled tightened ring at...

Since laparoscopic hernia repair was reported a few decades ago, many techniques have been developed. A simplified and safe procedure with low recurrence rate good cosmetic result is the main concern. In this study, we introduced new method, transumbilical two-port percutaneous extraperitoneal closure (TTPLPEC), evaluated safety feasibility of method.Five hundred thirty-six patients who accepted TTPLPEC in our hospital from July 2008 to January 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. During...

To address the challenges posed by nonlinear tire characteristics in active four-wheel steering (4WS) vehicle trajectory tracking, a novel control method is proposed. This incorporates time-varying corrected cornering stiffness to enhance adaptability. Initially, impact of friction coefficient and vertical load on lateral force nonlinearity analyzed. Key input features are identified, estimation model developed using Back Propagation (BP) neural network. Subsequently, tracking state equation...

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized metastatic melanoma (MM) treatment in just a few years. Ultraviolet (UV) sunlight is the most significant environmental cause of melanoma, which considered to be main reason for tumor mutation burden (TMB) increase melanoma. High TMB usually predicts that PD-1 are effective. The exposure pattern MM might clinical feature matches TMB. relationship between patterns and immunotherapy response unclear. This study aims investigate...

Tumor recurrence after orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) remains a serious threat for long-term survival of the recipients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), since very few factors or measures have shown impact on overcoming HCC OLT. Postoperative infection suppresses tumor and improves patient in lung cancer malignant glioma probably via stimulating immune system. Post-transplant (PTI), common complication, is deemed to be harmful transplant from short-term perspective. Nevertheless,...

Objective To summarize our experience on precise liver resection for giant pediatric hepatic neoplasms. Methods From January 2009 to February 2012,30 patients underwent technique of neoplasm at West-China hospital Sichuan Universi- ty. The patients, consisting 17 boys and 13 girls, had an average age 5.04 + 3.50 years (range,2 months 14 years). Hepatic reserve function radiologic study were evaluated carefully before sur- gery. A novel broadband slot antenna array based on enhanced mutual coupling is presented. By increasing the effects between elements intentionally, bandwidth can be extended effectively. The linear designed to operate in a wide frequency band ranges from 4 GHz 18 GHz. Numerical results are presented show excellent performance of array, such as large bandwidth, grating-lobe free scan volume, low profile, cross-polarization and compatible with conformal applications.
