Liposarcoma arising in the mediastinum is extremely rare. Herein we present a case of 47-year-old man with huge posterior mediastinal tumor that extended to bilateral thorax. The patient underwent complete resection and experienced an uneventful recovery. Postoperative pathology finally revealed liposarcoma. follow-up for 25 months, during which time no recurrence was found.
