Abstract We assessed the association between dietary inflammatory index (DII) and development of metabolic syndrome in elderly over 55 years Northern China. The data 1936 Chinese adults aged from a community-based neurological disease cohort study 2018 to 2019 were analysed. Multiple logistic regression restricted cubic splines used for analysis, social demographics, lifestyle health-related factors adjusted. In fully adjusted model, risk increased by 1·28-fold people with pro-inflammatory...

Abstract To improve the efficacy of artemisinins against cerebral malaria (CM) in murine, dihydroartemisinin (DHA) and perillyl alcohol (POH) co-loaded liposomes (DP@Tyr-Lips) were designed prepared, which POH was expected to exert neuroprotective effects synergistic therapeutic with DHA CM. Furtherly, tyrosine (Tyr)acted as a substrate LAT1 transporter could target brain tissue, used modify Lips for improving accumulation drugs via BBB amino acid transporters. DP@Tyr-Lips prepared uniform...

Few studies have considered nutrients as a mixture and their impact on Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). The generalized linear regression (GLM), weighted quantile sum (WQS) regression, Bayesian kernel machine (BKMR) models are fitted to estimate the association between intake of MCI. Comparing results from these three models, vitamin E B6 were identified most important factors associated with risk Considering characteristics BKMR, it may be more advantageous use BKMR combined joint effects...

Nuclear protein of the testis (NUT) carcinoma is a rare and highly aggressive malignancy characterized by rearrangement NUT midline family member 1 (NUTM1) gene. Nevertheless, standardized strategies for its diagnosis treatment remain unavailable, underscoring need expert consensus.
