We measure electron tunneling in transistors made from C140, a molecule with mass−spring−mass geometry chosen as model system to study electron-vibration coupling. observe vibration-assisted at an energy corresponding the stretching mode of C140. Molecular modeling provides explanations for why this couples more strongly than other internal modes molecule. make comparisons between observed rates and those expected Franck−Condon model.

0. Abstract Background The integration of large language models (LLMs) in healthcare offers immense opportunity to streamline tasks, but also carries risks such as response accuracy and bias perpetration. To address this, we conducted a red-teaming exercise assess LLMs developed dataset clinically relevant scenarios for future teams use. Methods We convened 80 multi-disciplinary experts evaluate the performance popular across multiple medical scenarios. Teams composed clinicians, engineering...

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) has a high incidence of perineural invasion (PNI), pathological feature the cancer nerves. PNI is associated with poor prognosis, local recurrence and pain. It been suggested that interactions between nerves tumor microenvironment (TME) play role in PDAC tumorigenesis. Here, we used Nanostring GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler to analyze whole transcriptome both nerve cells non-PNI foci from 13 patients. We identified previously reported pathways involved...

Abstract Background Cutaneous immune-related adverse events (cirAEs) are the most common toxicities to occur in setting of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy. Identifying patients who at increased risk developing cirAEs may improve quality life and outcomes. Objectives To investigate influence cancer type histology on development ICI therapy survival Methods This retrospective cohort study included recruited between 1 December 2011 30 October 2020. They received from 2020 with...

Red teaming, the practice of adversarially exposing unexpected or undesired model behaviors, is critical towards improving equity and accuracy large language models, but non-model creator-affiliated red teaming scant in healthcare. We convened teams clinicians, medical engineering students, technical professionals (80 participants total) to stress-test models with real-world clinical cases categorize inappropriate responses along axes safety, privacy, hallucinations/accuracy, bias. Six...

Since being introduced more than 30 years ago, endovaginal ultrasonography (US) and quantitative testing of serum levels the beta subunit human chorionic gonadotropin have become standard means establishing presence normal intrauterine pregnancy (IUP), failed IUP, ectopic pregnancy. Appropriate use these powerful tools requires clear, standardized interpretations based on conservative criteria to protect both mother. diagnoses are assigned earlier available medical treatments for IUP...

This is particularly true asymptomatic infections, which occur 50% cases. Abstract Cancer is a complex cellular ecosystem where malignant cells coexist and interact with immune, stromal other within the tumor microenvironment (TME). Recent technological advancements in spatially resolved multiplexed imaging at single-cell resolution have led to generation of large-scale high-dimensional datasets from biological specimens. This underscores necessity for automated methodologies that can effectively characterize molecular, spatial properties TMEs various...

The 2022-2023 mpox outbreak is a global worldwide concern, especially since the virus was previously mainly localized regionally in Central and West Africa. infection typically self-limiting transmitted by close contact/exposure with infected material.
