Two peripheral functionalized clamp-shaped cobalt porphyrin(2.1.2.1) complexes were synthesized, and their electrocatalytic ORR abilities investigated. A highly enantioselective formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction between 3-isothiocyanato oxindoles and alkynyl ketones is reported for the first time.
