Pregnant women may be at higher risk of severe complications associated with the acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which lead to obstetrical complications. We performed a case control study comparing pregnant disease 19 (cases) milder form (controls) enrolled in COVI-Preg international registry cohort between March 24 and July 26, 2020. Risk factors for severity, immediate neonatal outcomes were assessed. A total 926 positive test SARS-CoV-2 included, among 92 (9.9%)...
Dopamine and corticotrophin-releasing hormone (CRH; also known as factor) are key neurotransmitters in the interaction between stress addiction. Repeated treatment with cocaine potentiates glutamatergic transmission rat basolateral amygdala/cortex pathway through a synergistic action of D1 -like dopamine receptors CRH type-2α (CRF2 α receptors). We hypothesized that this observed synergism could be instrumented by heteromers containing receptor CRF2 receptor.
In fetuses with isolated left-sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia (LCDH), prenatal detection of severe pulmonary hypoplasia is important, as fetal therapy can improve survival. Cases mild or moderate lung still carry a considerable risk mortality and morbidity, but there has been less interest in the accurate prediction outcome these cases. this study LCDH, we aimed to investigate: (1) association between intrapulmonary artery (IPA) Doppler findings at discharge; (2) whether adding IPA...
Background: Pregnant women represent a vulnerable population at higher risk of complications infectious diseases. Data regarding the consequences emerging pandemic severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) during pregnancy are scarce. Recent evidence suggests that pregnant might be disease, while exposed fetuses and newborns could suffer from preterm birth, growth restriction neonatal infections. Methods: We developed an international web registry to allow structured data...
Abstract To evaluate the concordance of risk neonatal respiratory morbidity (NRM) assessed by quantitative ultrasound lung texture analysis (QuantusFLM) between twin fetuses same pregnancy. Prospective study conducted in pregnancies. Fetal images were obtained at 26.0–38.6 weeks gestation. Categorical (high or low) and continuous results NRM compared twins. from 131 pairs (262 images) twins included. The classified into three gestational age ranges: Group 1 (26.0–29.6 weeks, 78 images, 39...
Background: Recent evidence suggests that pregnant women might be at higher risk of severe disease associated with the emerging pandemic acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), while exposed fetuses/newborns could suffer from preterm birth, growth restriction and neonatal infections. The magnitude this increased specific factors for severity remains unclear. Methods: We performed a case control study comparing 19 (case) to milder form (controls) enrolled in COVI-Preg...
The aim of this study is to assess the clinical implication chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA) in diagnosis disorders fetal isolated echogenic kidneys. We review 10 cases kidneys with normal amniotic fluid volume followed our Fetal Nephrourological Unit from January 2015 December 2018. A detailed ultrasound scan was done rule out possible associated malformations and invasive test offered all investigate anomalies. Two women refused amniocentesis, eight (seven CMA one karyotype) studies...
We aimed to investigate in non-severe left-sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia (nsLCDH): The correlation between intrapulmonary artery Doppler (IPaD) and survival; Whether the IPaD could improve current algorithm; correlates with morbidity. Retrospective analysis on expectantly managed nsLCDH [(observed-to-expected-lung-to-head-ratio)o/eLHR>25%] at BCNatal (2008-2019). Primary outcome was survival. Predictors of survival were o/eLHR, liver herniation, gestational age birth. Correlation...
To evaluate the risk of neonatal respiratory morbidity (NRM) assessed by QuantusFLM® in fetuses twin and singleton pregnancies. Prospective study pregnancies from 26.0 to 38.6 weeks gestation, for which ultrasound images an axial section fetal thorax were obtained. Images collected stored original DICOM format analysed with QuantusFLM®. We included 212 (98 114 singleton), 450 classified three groups gestational age (table a). group-1 (149 images); group-2 (161 images) group-3 (140 images)....
To evaluate the agreement on risk of neonatal respiratory morbidity (NRM) in fetuses twin pregnancies. Prospective study pregnancies from 26 to 37.6 weeks gestation, for which ultrasound images an axial section fetal thorax (figure 1) were obtained. Images collected and stored DICOM format analysed with QuantusFLM®. We included 98 (20 MC 78 DC). A total 306 classified three groups gestational ages (table 1). The mean age birthweight was 37.1 (1.4); 2,435 (345)g 1 2,363 (440)g 2. There is...
