Abstract Establishing multi-colour patterning technology for colloidal quantum dots is critical realising high-resolution displays based on the material. Here, we report a solution-based processing method to form patterns of using light-driven ligand crosslinker, ethane-1,2-diyl bis(4-azido-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzoate). The crosslinker with two azide end groups can interlock ligands neighbouring upon exposure UV, yielding chemically robust dot films. Exploiting crosslinking process,...

Because of the poor prognosis diffuse-type gastric cancer, early detection is important. We investigated clinical characteristics and cancer (EGC) diagnosed in subjects during health check-ups.Among 121,111 who underwent gastroscopy a routine check-up, we identified 282 patients with 286 EGC lesions reviewed their tumor-specific parameters.Patients were younger, 48.1% them female. Serum anti-Helicobacter pylori IgG (Hp-IgG) was positive 90.7% (vs 75.9% intestinal-type EGC, p=0.002),...

Abstract A Gd-doped ceria (GDC) buffer layer is required between a conventional yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) electrolyte and La-Sr-Co-Fe-O 3 (LSCF) cathode to prevent their chemical reaction. In this study, the effect of varying conditions for fabricating GDC layer, such as sintering temperature amount aid, on solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) performance was investigated. finer powder (i.e., ultra-high surface area), higher (∼1290°C), larger aid (∼12%) resulted in improved densification...

Helicobacter pylori is a major risk factor for atrophic gastritis (AG) and gastric cancer. The correlation between H. pylori, AG colorectal neoplasm (CRN) has only been examined in limited number of studies, findings have inconclusive. We aimed to investigate the association infection status, advanced CRN.This cross-sectional study investigated relationship presence serum anti-H. Current guidelines recommend colon cancer screening for persons aged over 50 years. However, there are few data on colorectal in 40- to 49-year-olds. This study assessed the prevalence and risk factors of neoplasms 49-year-old Koreans. We analyzed results colonoscopies 6680 40-59 years age (2206 40-49 4474 50-59 years). The overall advanced 49-year group was lower than 50- 59-year (26.7% 2.4% vs 37.8% 3.5%, respectively). increased 39.1% 5.4%, respectively, 45- individuals with metabolic...

The aims of this study were to observe the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) hospitalization rate and identify risk factors for RSV infection among infants in Korea born at <35 weeks gestational age who had not previously received palivizumab. We conducted a over 2.5-year period (between April 2007 September 2009) that included premature (<35 age) underwent follow-up during 1 year after discharge from neonatal intensive care unit. Demographic information was collected each subject baseline,...

An increase in the prevalence of obesity has been observed children and adolescents. As remarkable changes body composition occur with growth during adolescent period, it is important that be monitored. The purpose this study was to propose reference percentile values for indices including mass index (BMI) adolescents Korea. This performed using data from Fourth Fifth Korea National Health Nutrition Examination Surveys. Body were obtained dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. curves constructed...

Abstract Hepatitis D virus (HDV) infection can cause severe acute and chronic liver disease in patients infected with hepatitis B (HBV). Despite the significant decline global HDV infection, it remains a major health concern some countries. This study aimed to investigate prevalence clinical features of co‐infection HBV Korea, where is endemic. Nine hundred forty [median age, 48 (18–94) years; men, 64.5%] chronically were enrolled consecutively. All who positive for surface antigen (HBsAg)...

Some immune system cells express type A and/or B γ-aminobutyric acid receptors (GABAA-Rs GABAB-Rs). Treatment with GABA, which activates both GABAA-Rs and GABAB-Rs), a GABAA-R-specific agonist inhibits disease progression in mouse models of 1 diabetes (T1D), multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, COVID-19. Little is known about the clinical potential specifically modulating GABAB-Rs. Here, we tested lesogaberan, peripherally restricted GABAB-R agonist, as an interventive therapy diabetic...
