Abstract We have cloned and expressed a bacterial thermostable alpha amylase gene in Pichia pastoris using the methanol‐controlled alcohol oxidase ( AOX1 ) promoter. Two integrative vectors were constructed with two different secretion signal sequences order to obtain efficient of protein. One vector contains structural encoding mature fused SUC2 sequence from Saccharomyces cerevisiae . In other vector, is its own sequence. both cases, secreted into culture medium high efficiency, around 2·5...

Human erythropoietin is mainly recognized for its hematopoietic function; however, by binding to receptor (EpoR), it can activate different signaling pathways as STAT, PI3K, MAPK and RAS increase cellular differentiation or provide neuroprotective effects, among others. A recombinant human variant with low glycosylation without effect (EpoL) was purified from skimmed goat milk. Recombinant (Epo) obtained CHO cell line used control compare EpoL effects. Neuroprotection studies were performed...

In the present paper we report biochemical characteristics of recombinant tick (Boophilus microplus) gut antigen Bm86 that previously has been cloned, expressed and recovered at high levels in methylotrophic yeast Pichia pastoris. The results demonstrate rBm86 had a modification position 92 (Thr replaced by Ile) aggregated, forming particles ranging between 17 40 nm. was N‐glycosylated, having least two non‐glycosylated sequons (Asn‐329 Asn‐363) ratio only 0.4/65 (free Cys/total Cys)/mol protein.

Multivalent live-attenuated or inactivated vaccines are often used to control the bovine viral diarrhea disease (BVD). Still, they retain inherent disadvantages and do not provide expected protection. This study developed a new vaccine prototype, including external segment of E2 protein from five different subgenotypes selected after massive screening. The proteins every subgenotype (1aE2, 1bE2, 1cE2, 1dE2, 1eE2) were produced in mammalian cells purified by IMAC. An equimolar mixture...
