Abstract Background Colposcopy diagnosis and directed biopsy are the key components in cervical cancer screening programs. However, their performance is limited by requirement for experienced colposcopists. This study aimed to develop validate a Colposcopic Artificial Intelligence Auxiliary Diagnostic System (CAIADS) grading colposcopic impressions guiding biopsies. Methods Anonymized digital records of 19,435 patients were obtained from six hospitals across China. These included images,...

Immunotherapy for malignant tumors has made great progress, but many patients do not benefit from it. The complex intratumoral heterogeneity (ITH) hindered the in-depth exploration of immunotherapy. Conventional bulk sequencing masked intratumor complexity, preventing a more detailed discovery impact ITH on treatment efficacy. Hence, we initiated this study to explore at multi-omics spatial level and seek prognostic biomarkers immunotherapy efficacy considering presence ITH.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with chemotherapy as a neoadjuvant therapy have been applied to the treatment of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). However, optimal regimen needs be further explored, particularly for older patients, and mechanisms by which immune inhibitor modulates evolution ESCC are unknown. In this single-arm phase 2 trial, patients resectable (stage II/III/IV without metastasis) were enrolled received nanoparticle albumin-bound (nab) paclitaxel two cycles...

Amyloid β (Aβ) has been established as a key factor for the pathological changes in brains of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD), and cellular senescence is closely associated aging cognitive impairment. However, it remains blurred whether, AD brains, Aβ accelerates neuronal whether this senescence, turn, impairs function. This study aimed to explore expression senescence-associated genes hippocampal tissue from young aged 5XFAD mice their age-matched wild type (WT) determine senescent...

Abstract Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection which continues to be the most common sexually transmitted disease, has been identified as a major risk factor for cervical cancer. Therefore, it is very important understand and grasp distribution of HPV in Chinese population, make foundation development cancer vaccine China. An extensive search strategy was conducted multiple literature databases. All retrieved studies were screened by October 31, 2018. The prevalence analyzed using random...

Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological malignancy and screening for risk factors with early detection has been shown to reduce mortality. In this study, we aimed analyze characteristics of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection precancerous lesions in women provide clinical evidence developing strategies prevent cervical women. Furthermore, evaluated influencing high-risk HPV infection. From April 2018 December 2021, 10,628 were recruited at Liaoning Cancer Hospital, Shenyang...

CaMKII has long been known to be a key effector for synaptic plasticity. Recent studies have shown that variety of modulators interact with the subunits regulate long-term potentiation (LTP) hippocampal neurons. However, whether non-coding RNAs modulate activity and affect plasticity is still elusive. Here, we identify previously uncharacterized RNA Carip functions as scaffold, specifically interacts CaMKIIβ, regulates phosphorylation α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid...
