Varicella-herpes zoster virus infection (VZV) is a major global health burden. This study aimed to evaluate VZV burden trends and cross-country inequalities. Age-standardized rates (ASRs) average annual percentage changes (AAPCs) of incidence, prevalence, mortality, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) were analyzed. Trends stratified by age, sex, Sociodemographic Index (SDI). Decomposition analysis identified contributions aging, epidemiological changes, population growth. Cross-country...

Metal accumulation (quantified as body burden) and the responses of two biomarkers (metallothionein [MT] induction superoxide dismutase [SOD] activity) in a freshwater cladoceran Daphnia magna were quantified after being exposed to different concentrations Cd Zn for 3 d. The burdens increased with increasing exposure concentrations. metal-specific concentration-dependent. As detoxification mechanism, MT was induced by or + dependent on Low SOD activity, which was, however, inhibited at...

We investigated neutron irradiation effects on monolayer MoS2 by photoluminescence (PL), Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Results revealed that Mo S defects oxidation replacements of vacancies were generated irradiation, leading to the red-shifts broadenings A1g modes, as well red-shift A-exciton peak quenching in PL spectra. The relative atomic content ratio decreased with increase flux, indicating assisted release atoms.

Pulsed laser simulation is a powerful method in studying dose-rate effects of semiconductor devices. However, blocking the incident from device layer by surface metallization layers has always been an influencing factor affecting their equivalent relationship because penetrations light and gamma rays are different. For quantitative study relationship, conversion (CF) defined as comparison between intensity dose rate at same basis [carrier generation (CGR), peak photocurrent]. The...
